This is an AMAZING place! The owners are absolutely the friendliest people! We took my son for his birthday, Maryland style crabs, and they were excellent! You can bring your own beverages to drink if you want. The crabs were huge and tasty. If you like Maryland style crabs, or any type of seafood, I highly recommend visiting this family owned restaurant.

Our absolute favorite local seafood spot! Everything is just perfect! I wish I could eat a big Royal Reds steamer pot everyday! Their garlic butter and coastal seasoning is off the charts delicious! Also, the best spot for blues!!! They cook everything to perfection! Always tender and juicy, never tough or rubbery! Just so GOOD!

The food was cold. I don’t know when those crabs were steamed but definitely not after our order was placed. Maybe in the morning? The day before? Not even bothered to warm them up. Another dish was very weird too, half cold/half warm, the rice was warm and seafood in it was cold, so obviously not cooked together. Everything is in the same spices: a garlic, a butter. No salt, not even on a table. Nothing was tasty, satisfying or enjoyable. Really bad job cooking. ☹️

I was having an early Mothers Day dinner with my son (he lives out of town), and I was looking online for a seafood restaurant. I came to Coastal Crab Company’s website and the description and pictures of the food looked so inviting, I wanted to give it a try. However, when we were on our way, my son saw that they were close to closing time at 7 PM. This was a little bit after 6PM. I called and the gentleman I spoke to said that we could order takeout. We really wanted to have a sit down meal so we scrapped that and decided to go to another popular local restaurant down by the river. When we got there, they were completely full and it was an hour wait time. At that point my son said that we can just do takeout and go home and eat. So, I called back Coastal Crab Company and I spoke to young woman who was so friendly. I thought we only had 20 minutes to closing , so she said how far are you? I said we are 20 minutes away and she said to come on. When we got there, we weren’t quite sure of what we wanted to eat. Anyway, we parked and went in. We met this lovely young woman. Her name was Nya I believe. She was awesome. She took our order and we decided to wait outside in the car. Her customer service was impeccable. She explained what was on the menu and she told us, and practically insured that we would love the food. Let me tell you it is some of the best seafood that I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and well seasoned, and you can tell that they put love into each and everything that they cooked. I had the seafood platter, with grouper and shrimp with the seafood rice in a creole sauce. It was to die for. We also had the seafood stew and the seafood gumbo. Both were excellent. They have my vote! I believe that their food is not only excellent, but the customer service is impeccable. I would go back again and again, thank you for making my early Mother’s Day with my son! I will see you for my birthday and I will tell all of my family and friends. Thank you Coastal Crab Company!
