This place is amazing! While it was a little tricky to find the entrance (go to the pathway left of the spa entry) once we did find our way we were quite pleased! Service was super friendly and fast. We were checked on often but not in an overbearing way. The food is absolutely superb. We ordered the Tuna Poke, Steak Frittes, Saffron Risotto, and for dessert the Pudding Chomeur. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We’ll be coming back here again for sure!

Duck breast absolutely delicious, loved everything about it. The Safran Risotto was really good too. The hostess was really nice and server very attentive. Overall we had a wonderful night and will definitely be back. I love meringue so I really enjoyed the Vermont mountain or something like that.

Excellent food in a comfortable dining atmosphere. Highly recommend. Chef made the rounds.

Very well prepared food with fresh ingredients. The arugula berry salad was the least impressive. Striped bass was very fresh and well prepared and delicious. Some of the plating was a little dated, but overall quality was excellent. Our server was unobtrusive and professional, but not overly friendly.

Nice atmosphere, but the food and service were not great when compared with other cheaper options in the area.

Beyond disappointed. Our holiday meal was ruined. It was a 4 course prix fixe menu: $125 for adults and $65 for kids. Unless they changed the chef, please do not waste your money here.

Food is always great and we always sit on the patio to enjoy a nice dinner. wine menu is good but careful of suggested wines as I didn’t have luck with getting what I was expecting.

You can’t beat a view of Mansfield on a clear summer night, but a perfectly cooked steak and wonderfully thick and flavorful risotto certainly help. The staff was casual but attentive and friendly, the cheese plate was delicious, specifically the candied currant and blue cheese. We were not rushed, felt taken care of but not intruded upon. 5 stars would be had is the stay had a little more polish and if the coffee and tea at the end is the meal were as high quality as the rest of the experience.

If I could I would give this place a 0. Yes we did have a reservation and yes we did make it 6 months in advance and yes it was Christmas Eve. But what was ridiculous was that they sat us right by the bar and door at a folding table. This family who had been waiting before us got there right before us and was super snooty to us and the hostess. They were rude. So we decided to sit and eat downstairs at the restaurant in the lobby which honestly was so much better. The snotty family obviously was seating in the back of Flannel at a great non folding table. What a disappointment.

My wife and I were in Stowe for the weekend for our anniversary, and decided to try something new. Our first impression of Flannel was not great, as we had made a reservation for later in the evening, assuming it wouldn’t be crowded then, but were made to sit at the bar for about 15min upon arrival (where we were largely ignored), because they had a large party there for a birthday or something (though I was a bit puzzled, as the majority of the tables inside were vacant). We were eventually seated at a table outside on their patio, which was lovely until our food came and it was dark out by that point, with no candles or outdoor lighting so you could see what you were eating. They eventually brought a candle for us, and the food was good (we had the steak frites and seafood risotto), though a bit overpriced. The beer menu was decent, and the wine menu was extensive, though not many options were available by the glass (I don’t drink wine, just my wife, so we’re not buying an entire bottle). Overall, not a terrible experience, but not great either, and for that kind of money I would definitely recommend Edson Hill instead (though they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays, hence why we tried here).
