Our business includes morning commuters stopping in for breakfast, area employees and neighbors enjoying lunch, friends meeting for coffee and conversation, office workers seeking to satisfy their 2pm sugar craving, people picking up a fresh salad, or dessert for their evening meal.
The idea to combine the roots of American music with the culture of cotton was inspired by our passion for the preservation of our country’s iconic culture and history.

We try to eat at a different local restaurant each time we go out, and we had breakfast here. The woman behind the counter, Miss Nicole, was all smiles and very helpful. Although dine-in is no longer an option, they do have al fresco tables to enjoy the surrounding old downtown area. The prices are family budget friendly, and the food is cooked when you order- no heat lamps or dried out hash browns here! Well worth going off the beaten path!

What an amazing experience! We grabbed some sweet potato custard mini pies in the evening (DON’T miss them!!) then went back for coffee and breakfast take out this morning. The Martha omelette is and the coffee is delicious. But all of the amazing food pales in comparison to the hospitality of the manager Nicole!! She’s a real gem.

We came by this morning to grab a quick breakfast and it’s always delicious. My breakfast sandwich was wonderful as was the coffee. The service is excellent and the menu has great variety from breakfast, lunch and dinner. But the desserts are the best! Pound cake, cocoanut cake and the cupcakes are my favorites.

Blue Cotton Bake Shop in beautiful downtown Clarksdale is more than an institution….they make you feel like part of the family! Nicole and I get to see each other 2, 3 okay sometimes 5 times a week! From special birthday cakes, to delicious cookies, to my favorite custom built breakfast sandwich called “The Crispy Bacon Scott”! Nicole and I spent some time perfecting it. This restaurant is the chik fil a of Clarksdale. Everytime I call to place multiple orders, the lady is always super sweet. When we pick up our orders, they are ALWAYS correct. Never had to call back because something was wrong. The food is so good! 10/10 I recommend

Amazing food and service!! I ordered the Frank’s Omelet and it was probably the best omelet I’ve had in my entire life. We ordered a brownie and a Snickerdoodle as well, both were delicious!! There is also lots of yummy candy for sale.
