Let me first say that. I rarely ever speak negative of any place that I’m at. And the food was delicious, but the chips pictured were definitely stale. We found a worm in the broccoli and, it turns out that the worm is commonly found in produce but does not make for a delightful meal. The restaurant comped the meal, and we quickly relocated ourselves.

It was late and my Google-Fu skills found this place recommended. It was almost closing time, but I was welcomed in. Food was delish and I was checked on just the right amount of times. Everything was cooked fresh and the rice was not overcooked or sticky. Their version of General Tso’s Chicken was very good. Not too hot and the chicken was crisp.

I absolutely LOVE Lotus. It has been a town staple since before I was born, I believe they opened their doors in 1985. I know for sure it was in the 80s. And under the same ownership ever since. So whether you are a local, or just passing through, I highly recommend Lotus as delicious, authentic ( and AFFORDABLE!) Chinese cuisine. A MUST TRY/HAVE as a family favorite.

Tonight was our first time ordering dinner from this restaurant since we moved here about 4 months ago. The man who took our order over the phone was super sweet. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately greeted and told our food would be right out. I peeked over the counter at everything posted on the wall. Different awards, photos with I assume important people and newspaper clippings with stories they’ve been featured in. It was pretty nice to see. In a few mins out came the cutest man with a big box full of our food. I immediately recognized him from all the photos on the wall and I assume he’s the owner. I didn’t ask but it felt pretty cool to have the owner bring out our food. We thanked them for their service and were soon on our way home. The car smelled amazing. The portions were very generous and we will have food for days. My oldest loved the dumplings. My youngest the ribs. My husband the fried chicken. I really enjoyed my pork fried rice and my mother in law her ribs tips. Thanks for the amazing food! We will definitely be ordering again!

Guys, if you like Chinese, then this is the place. Me and the giys go here regularly. There fast, it’s hot and fresh and there very nice here. The food is absolutely amazing. And you definitely need to try the hot mustard.

We stopped for lunch and the food was amazing! I thought it was a sushi place but at least for lunch they didn’t have it on the menu. The hot and sour soup and the egg drop soup were delicious. The spicy beef wasn’t very spicy but I imagine they would spice it up if you asked.
