Ordered Chicken taco salad with more lettuce, less beans. Got more lettuce, but no beans. They supplied 2 salsas which is not enough. The guacamole part was tasty.

First time there. Ordered a carnitas burrito. Tasted good. Service very good. Will need some other food to get an accurate idea of overall quality. If I return to the area I definitely would try this placexagain.

This spot is conveniently placed, I think. It’s a local Mexican food spot that’s sitting right next to Target. It’s pretty popular and can get packed with locals, on the weekends. I typically get a quick fix of rolled tacos, before I enter Target. I took of a star off mainly because I’ve seen better prices on a fix of rolled tacos. They also slam the top with too much cheese and unnecessary lettuce. However, I do still recommend swinging through and trying them out. Cheers!

I’ve been going to this place for a while now. Each dish from their carnitas plate and nachos to their pollo asado burrito have been spot on. Service is good. For me it checks every mark of a good and fast Mexican food restaurant.

Best potato tacos I’ve found in the area, and decently priced too. Bean burritos, pollo asado fries are also great too. We seem to always have a mix up with what salsa we get when we order chips and salsa but other than that, Serranos is one of my favorite Mexican spots around!

I’ve been eating here for 21 years having grown up in Poway/San Diego, now I’m 30 and it’s still going strong through a few changes in management, but they’ve largely held the same menu all these years. This place has the best burritos in San Diego HANDS DOWN! And when I mean the best, I mean best flavor, and THEY ARE HUGE if you get enough ingredients.

We have been to many different Taco shops here in Poway. This one is our favorite. The staff are friendly and fast. The food is delicious. We have been going to Serrano’s for years and we don’t plan on stopping any time soon.
