Food was just okay. I wish 3.5 was an option as a rating. I Took my staff here for a dinner retreat. Our server was very nice and helpful. The food & drinks however, were just “ok”. Presentation, I’d say was the strongest attribute, but flavor seemed to be an issue for all of my colleagues across the board. One person had to send the steak back be because it was cold. Two other short ribs were overcooked. Spinach was super flavorful and cooked quite nicely.

Interestingly, we found Alizee’s dining room empty at 6pm on a Friday. As a result, acoustics were horrible. The restaurant’s floors and walls consist of tile, so the noise coming from the bar and lobby create an echo chamber. The restaurant installed lots of tacky green hedges in an attempt to counteract the effect; however, it doesn’t work.

Overall I was unimpressed, very disappointed. We decided to try it because it was restaurant week. A friend of mine ordered the crab deviled eggs and the crab wasn’t placed on her app and it was bought out in a condiment cup instead. Eggs were under seasoned and had way too much Dijon mustard. I ordered fries as an additional starter with the contingency upon malt vinegar being available it was bought out and inedible because it is expired (pictured below). My sister ordered the quinoa salad which was pretty but taste wise disappointing. Wasn’t enough dressing and the quinoa wasn’t seasoned…. Not enough cheese on the salad if the grain was going to be bland. The food was not hot for the amount of time we waited. Also the plates weren’t heated which cooled my meal done a great deal. The Demi tasted like it was from a pack and the ribs had a good taste but were way overcooked potatoes had no garlic in them. The highlight was the drinks we ordered and the mousse cake. The server was pleasant but I won’t be back.

So this is a tough review for me. There was so much good and so much bad. Part of me wanted to give this place a 1, part of me thinks it deserved a 4, I’m settling on a 2. The food was pretty good. This could easily be a place people want to go regularly, if they can fix the problems. The atmosphere/decor was nice. There was a fireplace and lots of comfortable booths etc. it is definitely a place that makes you want to come back. As many of the reviews stated the service was atrocious. It was one of the worst services experiences I’ve ever had. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded. The bar area was, though. When we walked in it took at least 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge our party. They did seat us by the fire place, as we requested. We were the 5th table when we were seated. There appeared to be two waitstaff. Unfortunately it took nearly 10 minutes, for the waitress to acknowledge us. She filled our water and let us know she would be back in five minutes or less. Nearly 15 minutes later she came back to take our order. Unfortunately no one give us any drink menus. Our waitress gave us a wine list, but not beer list. We ordered, and asked for beer list, which she promptly brought over. After waiting at least 20 minutes. We were out of water, out of bread with no beer or wine. Another table seated right after us still hadn’t ordered. Either the manager or chef (based on his dress) was attempting to do damage control with the tables. Our waitress forgot what wine we ordered and never took our beer order. The chef got both of these things for us. When the food actually came out it was pretty darn good. There was definitely effort put into the plates. If the service was even remotely acceptable I’d definitely go back and/or recommend it to friends. As is, I can’t recommend you go here unless you’re snowed in at the double tree or there isn’t anything open in the area. I hate to down rate something like service, but based on reviews this is a recurrent problem. Plus the service was abysmal.

BIRTHDAY Dinner to remember! The server we had gave me and friends great service for my 19th birthday, the food was delicious. My friend had the shrimp and grits and they are TO DIE FOR. My steak was tender and juicy. Love this place , can’t wait to come back. Definitely recommend to all party’s small and large. There’s plenty of space for everyone.

Came in on 01/31/23 at 10:30am. After having great service at the hotel i thought to stop for breakfast. The service I have received upon arrival at the restaurant made me regret my decision. The waitress with blond and curly hair would not even great us or look at us as we ordered. When placing our orders she was rude in tone and not welcoming at all. Will not be returning because of her. My mom has also had a headache and the lady was so rude to her. And proceeded to drag a large trolley making ruckus and making my mothers headache more severe.

Went on restaurant week. Place was 2/3 empty, but we had to wait exactly 1h to get our appetizers. The waiter apologized stating that they have too many carry out orders. Than another 25min to get a good quality meat but with ice cold sides. DO NOT GO THERE, IT IS NOT WORTH-ED

The restaurant was supposed to be open for dinner. We were staying in the hotel and looking forward to a meal after touring in the heat. The only worker was a person who was bartending an event. No orders could be placed. When we tried later at 9:30pm the person who was still tending bar said that the kitchen was closed. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 10pm…as was room service…through the restaurant.
