The Burnt ends platter was amazing, the potatoe salad, awesome… the baked Mac n cheese… a little bland. The table nearby taking a face time call and yelling into their phone they situated at the end of their table… not great, but not the restaurants fault. Service was fantastic, from walking in the door to settling my tab. Also, the platter was too much food, I had to get a to-go box.

I went to Mookie’s BBQ on Saturday with a friend to taste all the foods I am getting for my Wedding, that Mookie’s is catering. I had never been there or eaten the food but because of word of mouth and the reviews I decided on them. I can tell you that the dine in experience was amazing. Sammy was our waitress and she was informative, attentive and all around a wonderful server. Brian came out and talked to me and was very courteous. The Food was Absolutely amazing! We had the Pulled pork and Chicken. Baked Macaroni and Cheese, Coleslaw, Potato salad, Corn Bread, Sausage, Baked Beans, Spinach Salad and my favorite the baby back Ribs! I know that having them cater my wedding is going to leave my guests very happy and satisfied! Thank you Brian and the Staff at Mookie’s! I know you are going to help make my Wedding day a Success!

I visited on a Wednesday evening to get some summery eats before a Filene Center show. I had enjoyed previous occasions where I sat outside, so I anticipated another positive experience. The clientele seem to be majority locals from the surrounding area. The staff seemed to know a good many of the people around the bar and conversed easily with those less familiar to them. The interior looked clean and well-maintained. Service was friendly and efficient with food arriving within reasonable times from ordering and drinks refilled without asking.

This is a great place that can accommodate very large groups. Great food, awesome drinks, attentive servers. We didn’t have to wait long for anything. They earned their stars from us and generous tip. Great ambience. We will make sure we stop by at our next visit.
