Food is excellent. They will even make items not on the menu.

The Palace is an excellent little establishment that has a unique feel that captures the real feel of a “retro” diner. It is a shotgun style building, so seating capacity is a bit limited with the emphasis really being on the bar side of things.

Stopped in on our trip from Olney, Il. The staff was super friendly, the food was great. We both had cheese burger and fries fixed just the way we ask.

Nice little mom and pop spot to grab a bite. Old time 1950’s feel to it.

Great food. I had the drunken pig sub and it was one of the best sandwiches ever. Loved it. Going back tomorrow!

Stopped in for breakfast. Had the breakfast stack (split biscuit topped with hash browns, gravy, sausage, and eggs). It was served very quickly and was hot, fresh, and delicious! Will definitely come back for breakfast again.

Reuben sandwich was tasty, and the rest of the food at the table looked great – they charge for tap water which is frustrating. Prices were reasonable.

I’m guessing depending on who you are entering this restaurant, they like to cough in their hands, then give you your change back when paying, but also sneeze on your food while cooking it. So if u get sick just be observant. They also don’t wear gloves to atleast be sanitary. Just saying.
