Not your average experience. This place is anything but that! They are very friendly and have fast service. I was especially impressed with the amount of food you get for the money…you’ll pay as much as any average Mexican restaurant of this nature but it is so well worth it.

Thursdays special are their nachos for $5.99. I got them with asada and the works. It was the BEST I have ever had. And would get them again. On Tuesdays, their specials are street tacos. But I got the quesa-pizza large size. It’s huge! My family loved it!

Ok, so the food when it’s good is very very good. My partner and I have come to realize that when the mother/matriarch is there, the food is outstanding. Fresh, flavorful , very yummy. When she’s not there the quality of the food really takes a dive. For example, I found a feather in my carnitas nachos one time. A feather. In my pork nachos. I don’t even know how that happens. So yeah, if you can, go when the mom/matriarch is there. If she isn’t, I’d give it a miss for that day

Today was our first time eating here. First of all, the young girl working there was as sweet as can be. Then Came the food…it was absolutely Delicious! I got Carnitas taco salad and I didn’t find any fat on the meat! It was wonderful! Even the shell was delicious! We live an hour away but that wont stop us from visiting often!

Flako’s tacos is nothing short of great. So far everything I have tried here has been delicious. Great prices also. This area has been needing a Mexican restaurant like this for a long time. If you go on a Tuesday be aware. It’s taco Tuesday! The line will be long.

Was not particularly impressed. Ordered a california burrito and mulita, paid extra for sour cream and guacamole with both. The california burrito was really sweet? and I swear the fries are just from mcdonalds across the street. There was no guacamole on it, so I thought maybe the 3 cups of green stuff they included was the guacamole, but it was the consistency of water… no sour cream with the mulita, unless they cooked it inside which might explain the odd taste on that too.
