This was my first time eating here and the food was excellent! The restaurant was very clean and had a great staff. They have hibachi, Chinese and Sushi so there is something for everyone. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their delicious food.

Sakura Express is a fantastic Japanese restaurant! They have a huge sushi selection and serve Chinese food as well! Eating here my plate has always had more than enough food on it and I feel as if I am getting what I am paying for. If you are wanting sushi this is essentially the only place in town for that, so it’s something to consider. But the food is also great, and I will continue to eat here as long as they keep doing what they are doing!

They have some of the best sushi rolls you can find. The sushi rolls are much bigger than a lot of places that I have gotten sushi from. It’s not a fancy place but their hibachi and sushi is absolutely amazing.

I ordered the small plate of Hibachi chicken that is served up to 3 pm. The chicken was tender and had a good flavor. After 3 pm, you can only order large size plates that cost more. The place is small and clean. I will come back to try the sushi. It’s the only place close to Asheboro that services sushi at this time.
