Excellent Chili Verde and Molcajete. The salsa that comes with the chips was delicious. And a decent Pina colada. All at fair prices. I’m just a gringo, but lived in Mexico for a while, and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had north of border states. It’s worth a side trip off I-80!

Food was an authentic taste of Mexico. I’ve been to many border towns. It was real tasty of the culture. Atmosphere was good for a Sunday afternoon. Service was excellent, drinks were fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful interior, especially the gold and silver tin style ceiling. Three of us ordered completely different foods and each one was delicious when served. Oddly my order was served several minutes before the rest of table. Even then one member had to wait for part of his order. We were the only customers, so I don’t understand why the wait. But food was good once served. Staff was accommodating. Seating was terrific and perfect sized for full sized butts. Such a nice place not to be better advertised.

The atmosphere was fun; beautiful tall ceilings and some neat decor. We were impressed with the food; price, amount, and taste were all great. Got fajitas and something in a volcano bowl with cactus… felt interesting and unique. The service was friendly. After trying 5-6 food locations in Red Oak, this one has been our favorite.

Ate here for a late lunch. Ordered a taco salad. Very nice ambiance..service was polite..however the ground beef had little to no seasoning and the salsa had an odd flavor I couldn’t put my finger on. Will try it again sometime – maybe they just had an off day.

If I could rate this it would definitely be half a star. The chips a day or two old the sopes had no flavor. I wish authentic would mean that have different salsas other than the chip and dip salsa. The wet burrito had no flavor. Really disappointed. Bot at all authentic.
