This was My Husband and My first time visiting for my birthday ,Christine was a phenomenal server although upon arrival,it wasn’t a friendly atmosphere.when approaching I overheard Marsha and her granddaughter (presumably) say something about my attire which was very disrespectful. Me and my husband contemplated leaving the restaurant but I insisted we stay.we got up to use the restroom before our food was served ,our table was cleared by the busser! I wanted a different experience somewhere new ,I do NOT recommend this place for people of different ethnicities! Will not return due to the amount of disrespect BEFORE entering the restaurant.. will be telling everyone I know , to Not come here .

Stopped by for stuffies and drinks. The building is older and feels worn, but good food and friendly staff. While not planned, we were tempted into trying a dessert item. Likely the best cheesecake that I have ever had. Desserts all looked good, but glad we got the cheesecake! I would recommend this as a dessert destination.

The menu is a outdated and still running on the same old fried New England seafood. They make colossal size apple turnovers and chocolate eclares at their bake shop. The service was great though!

Food was awesome. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Would have been 5 stars had we not been treated like we didnt exist for the first 10 minutes we stood waiting to be seated/acknowledged. Made eye contact with multiple employees with out so much as a smile let alone a “someone will be right with you”. The place was not understaffed or busy so there was no excuse. When we were seated our server was great. Not attentive but kind. The atmosphere was great. Light hearted laughter all over and a comfortable feeling over all.

Captain Jack’s is a favorite spot to relax and unwind any day of the week..Scenery is great and staff is always friendly and attentive. Enjoy the RI style chowder & clam cakes and fish was delicious. Heading back soon!
