Small little place but food was GREAT. Wanted Shrimp so I stopped in to check it out. Greeted when I walked in with a bit of a Southern twang. I’m originally from Louisiana so it sounded a bit like home. Got the fish and shrimp combo, comes with awesome fries! Service was great. Sat down and ate my fill and even had some left to bring home. Saw chicken livers and gizzards on the menu so came back the next day…definitely worth it. Definitely be back. A little taste of home for sure! JS

We ordered the shrimp poboys and they were amazing! Generous portion, delicious, on a fresh roll. It was very busy at lunch time, but the guy at the front desk was calm, efficient and kept it all flowing. The cook was very good, our food and all the others I saw looked perfect, although we had to wait a little longer than at other places. We highly recommend Shakeys!

Today, I treated my mother and myself to Sharky’s Chicken and Fish. A waste of 80 buck, the fish coating was super thick, the fish was old and had no seasoning. The peach cobbler crust was like tofu, and not sweet at all. What happened, the I have had better fish at Mc Donald’s

The wait for your food is unbelievable. We had a small to go order which took an hour and fifteen minutes. While still waiting for our order the employee’s kept telling everyone it would be a 30 minute wait, as he did us. We won’t go back.

Great freakin spot!! Honestly! I’ve had the combo meals with the fries, catfish, bossa. You get a lot of great tasting fish! The chicken looks good too. Tried the Jambalaya man it’s good! Hearty filling and savory with just the right amount of spices. Their house made lemonade is fire as well. The desserts look poppin! Gotta try those different cakes the owner Toby has all the great vibes! He knows his customers and appreciates them. We thank you for coming to Vallejo. Fun and delicious spot. Try it out for a southern feeling.
