Excellent place to go with family, or a casual meal. I got the “French American” which was a large croissant with egg cheese and bacon. Was great!! Bacon wasn’t too salty, nicely smoked, and was very thick cut.

We tried poppyseed for brunch last Friday and the food was delicious! So glad fort mill got a place like this. I tried bird box. I normally don’t love ordering chicken sandwiches because chicken can be rubbery even at restaurants but this was perfectly tender and super juicy. My parents got the local and the BLT. The portions were perfect and the flavors delicious. We will definitely be back.

A JEWEL IN FORT MILL! VERY VERY GOOD BREAKFAST/BRUNCH! Excellent restaurant for eclectic menu items, more on the “gourmet/foodie”-type offerings.Varied, interesting menu including breakfasts, salads & sandwiches, and superb pastry items. Every plate I saw from the food runners looked fantastic!! My breakfast (pictured) was just outstanding: the biscuit was one of the best I’ve ever had, served with fresh raspberry confit. NICE, healthy & creative children’s menu (not the run-of-the mill typical chicken nugget/mac & cheese/hot dog child offerings). Service was terrific: friendly, prompt, attentive. Fair prices for high quality ingredients & well-prepared, made to order food. Pleasant, relaxing, non-rushed atmosphere; plenty of free parking & very accessible. First time here & will be back, & back and…!

Good little breakfast and lunch place near downtown Fort Mill. Excellent service from Addie. Menu is a little small but the recipes are unique and the quality is good. Prices are a little expensive for what you get. Especially the ridiculous $4 for a cup of coffee (C’mon, owners!).

This is a cute little place just off Main St in Fort Mill. We went for brunch and both meals were quite good – portions were excellent! The owner is present and super friendly as we’re the other staff members. I’ll be back to try some of their other options!

We had the food and it was delicious. I had The Local breakfast dish with home made turkey sausage vs frozen patties, the hashbrowns were yummy, and a side of French toast, also yummy. 1 friend had the pancakes, another had the Birdbox chicken sandwich with a hot honey sauce. For their homemade biscuits, they give u a fruit jam, very good. Service was great and staff was friendly. Will definitely be going back!

My husband and I dined at Poppyseed kitchen for the first time this morning. Our server, I believe her name was Amelia, was wonderful, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious! We shared the ranch hash (eggs on the side), the pancake, a biscuit with homemade jam and the side poppyseed salad. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the food quality and taste to the portion size. We could tell that they really care about the food and service they provide. I highly recommend checking them out for breakfast, lunch or just a quick snack to go as their pastries also looked amazing. Thank you for a great experience, Poppyseed kitchen! We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
