Absolutely fabulous experience! We ordered several dishes and shared among our party of 4. The standout to me was the beef stew – the beef was extremely tender…you could cut it with a fork! The stewed beans and rice were stewed in a superbly flavored cilantro-based sauce and we truly could have eaten about three more plates. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture!

The food is very good, very unique and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Service is a bit slow. Typically when my plates are removed I expect a check. But both times I’ve visited this spot, the table is cleared and I need to wait to flag someone to ask for a check. This time they brought it promptly. Overall, this is a great spot for great food. Just don’t go when you’re in a big hurry.

Excellent new restaurant in Lakewood Ranch. The atmosphere is casual and the restaurant itself has a very “vanilla” feel. The food, however, is really, really good. What appears to be a somewhat simple menu, opens up into a much greater variety when you dig into it. The service was excellent. Our server explained many things to us that helped with our food and drinks selection.

We were so happy to find this lovely little gem after the Main Street Art Fest! We got a table outside, and we were instantly greeted by a nice guy who took our orders. Then there seemed to be a shift change, so there was a bit of a lapse in service, but the second server was equally friendly and trying to do his best. The food was delicious and the setting so beautiful, we didn’t sweat it.

Great atmosphere and warm company! The food is incredible. Kleyver walked us through a few of his favorite items on the menu after informing us of the history behind their family business. The recommendations were incredible. I didn’t expect to walk into a new restaurant and find another favorite go-to. Looking forward to bringing some friends back in the near future!

My girlfriend in Sarasota is originally from Peru. I went for a visit and she took me to an authentic Peruvian Restaurant “INKAWASI”. The food and atmosphere were amazing! What a great experience! Will definitely have Peruvian food again!

Great local spot! Very friendly service, good size menu and great options. The portions were more than fair, the flavor profile is traditional peruvian. The place itself is a bit old, but the decor is very nice and the eating area is very clean. Only a minute or two off the highway and seems fairly close to other locales.

Found this place by googling Peruvian food near me. Food was flavorful. Good presentation and variety. We got the yuca frita, tallarines verdes, tallarín saltado, and chaufa. The restaurant was also nicely decorated with authentic Peruvian art and displays. We loved it! Server was attentive. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
