Loved the food – good selection of meat and sides and everything we had tasted fab the fried chicken was definitely the best I’d had in a real long time and the mash & gravy was spot on seems to be a hit with the locals as quite a few workers stopped in at the same time. Plenty of seating, very hospitable servers who were attentive and checked on us a couple of times. They have a good selection of bakery items and homemade condiments and pickles. Restrooms were clean. Highly recommend for the taste of the food and moreover, for the great value

Delicious southern cooking with quality local ingredients. This was one of my mother’s favorite places to eat when traveling to and from her Glenwood, GA home town. I recently got the chance to eat there for the first time and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stopped on a trip not knowing what to expect. You can order off a menu or cafeteria style. Good home cooking. The fried chicken was great. Seasoned well and not overly greasy. Comfort food served in a super friendly small town eatery. Do not pass up the Mac and cheese.

My husband and I visited for the first time today. The food was good, but the portions were too small. I was just as hungry when I left as when I first walked in the door . That’s saying a lot because I eat very small portions anyway.

We were passing by on our way down to Florida and decided to stop to grand a bite. The chicken was delicious! The owner came to our table and tapped me on the shoulder and asked if everything was ok; that’s what I call southern hospitality! Totally recommend this place if you are in the area. Loved it!

Fried chicken and Macaroni cheese so good! The fresh rolls are fluffy and buttery, yum! Chipped BBQ is not very good, so keep this in mind. It is a Southern Home Cooking eatery which does not specialize in BBQ.

First visit. Waitresses were great. Buffet food been sitting awhile so we opted to order from menu.. Menu not accurate – scallops still on it but they are no longer offered. Husband ordered grilled catfish that was not quite done & sautéed more than grilled. Will try again at lunch when buffet is fresh.

I gave this restaurant 2 star rating because the vegatables were tasty. Most vegetables were cooked with meat. Being a vegetarian,I got only 3 vegetables and a sprite the cost was $11.21. That’s nearly $3 each small bowl. Leaving, I noticed the best prices were only with meat. The internet needs to be updated to close at 2pm instead of 3pm.
