Hi George!!! It’s been forever (over 30 yrs. Wow!) since i’ve had your pizza and i am patiently waiting right now for it to make it up to Lancaster with my hubby who just happily met you and took a pic for me which brought me to joyful tears! Sooo happy you’re keeping the old neighborhood a piece of what it used to be and what i miss dearly. Gonna have to make a trip and sit at the old family table with my spunky old friend soon!

Worst pizza ever!!! I ordered an extra large pizza, George gave me one that was already made. Pizza wasn’t freshly made.He just put it in the oven for a minute and put it in a box. Box is all greasy and the cheese was dried up and the bottom of the pizza was burnt.waste of $10.00 l wouldn’t recommend this pizza place and I won’t be going back again.Ridiculous!!!

George’s Pizza is a staple in the community. The owner is friendly and out going. Everybody knows and respect him. I am so pleased, Georgie’s Pizza continues thrive in a community totally gentrified! The best Pizza in Philly and I believe it’s because of the old oven (pizza is hot)! This is a take out Jawn unless you want to get a quick slice. George’s pizza is the only place to go.

Me and my friend went there on april19 th 2023 my pizza was so greasy tge crust on the bottom and top fell all apart every slice we picked up, not to mention the chicken they used to put on it was so chewy n shredded it actually tasted like a chewy greasy chicken slop, the buffalo wings was so dried out we couldn’t even eat them we were so upset and they charged us 36.00 they will never see my face again the only thing was good that is was hot that’s it.

Ordered a 10 inch white veggie pizza, was over an hour late, tried to say they called but my phone wouldn’t connect. Lies. Not to mention the pizza didn’t have ricotta, they use canned mushrooms, and it was stuck to the paper, prob bc it was cold! Zero customer service… Never again!

I have cheesesteak envy!! @diningonadime posted a picture of a George’s cheesesteak and their’s was much bigger than mine!! At $8 in Philly I am not going to complain (much). 2 of my favorite things that don’t necessarily need to go together, corropolese roll and a toasted roll. Corropolese rolls stand on their own but it is George’s pizza and not Jim’s. Very good roll, with or without the toasting. The meat had a good flavor. Very good amount of cheese and the cheese was melted very nicely. Overall, The cheesesteak needed more of everything but if you are in the city and only have $8 in your pocket, have I got a (good) cheesesteak for you!!
