Just moved into the area and have eaten from here twice the shrimp egg rolls were surprisingly great not oily. The shrimp were pretty big too didn’t look like dehydrated shrimp I normally see in shrimp egg rolls. Food overall was pleasant and tasty I enjoyed it I might go back a third time.

I had not been to chef king of many years but when I returned I discovered the food was a lot better than marginal like many take out places. Everything I tried was good and had its own flavor. If you’re hungry I would recommend it. I guess all the people had the same idea cuz when I was there it was very busy.

The first time I ordered it was great. 3rd time I ordered I don’t know what I received. The wontons tasted like they were cooked in really old oil. The sweet snd sour sauce was so watered down. The sesame chicken was of really low quality chicken and was red in color. Looked as if they made general Tso and threw sesame seeds on top. This experience is not ok and I will never order from them again. Ruined experience.

Always good customer service and the food is very tasty neighborhood eats. Doesn’t have that oily “every dish tastes the same” syndrome that many places have. Saved me from a hungry night home from work many times. Veggie dishes are fresh.

Overall this isn’t a bad place. The food is ok, it’s your standard Chinese restaurant. However they don’t take cash. I ordered food and was told cash only. No sign was posted. I had to go with my kid find an ATM, eat an ATM fee and come back. It was raining, we were hungry, it’s the 21st century. Get a card machine to take payments.
