Decided to try Burger Barn today with the kiddo. Essentially, they sell burgers, some sides such as fries and Mac and Cheese. I had a bacon cheese burger with pepper jack cheese. The real test was how crispy they would make the bacon. It was perfect!

Burger Barn on Bay Meadows was pretty delicious. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Prices are the new normal. For a family of 4 it was 50.00 bucks.

Stopped here for lunch and man I was in for a treatment handmade burgers cooked fresh and served with friesxoe chips. I chose fries. My burger was cooked to perfection and fried popping hot and fresh. The young lady working the front was very helpful and courteous. She and I built my burger and she also made suggestions on what she liked. I loved her energy. Def a burger lovers place and I love burgers!

Read the reviews and was really looking forward to having a memorable burger… regretfully the results didn’t meet our expectations. First the good . New location right off Baymeadows with easy in and out as well as plenty of parking both regular and handicapped. Entry finds a clean but rather chilly area to place our order so 5 ⭐ so far. Now we come to the food. Ordered the Barn House Salad…more like a Barn Shed small with a few cucumbers, Romaine lettuce, carrot strips with Blasamic dressing not much for $5.79 3 ⭐. Ordered the Pavilion Chicken Lemon Pepper out came a small bland chicken breast $8.49 on roll at best 3 ⭐. Bill ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and Regular Fries. First where’s the cheese? It was so thin you could barely see less taste it. Patty was tasteless and dry in need of some kind of seasoning when cooked 3 ⭐ for the burger $8.79 with fries that were very good 5 ⭐ for the fries. Strawberry milkshake was good but kinda small for $6.00 4 ⭐ . How do I rate Burger Barn vs. the competition? Over priced and underwhelming. Culver’s gives you a better burger and Wendy’s a better package for $5 than this $40.00 meal.

Super clean restaurant and friendly staff. Decided to try since we live nearby. It gives you a southern feel and has a nice covered outdoor patio with fans so definitely bringing our dog next time. You order at the counter so no need to tip just be a decent human and leave you table clean when you leave. Food is great and yhe prices are so reasonable, $3 beers, $6 traditional burger – $9 gourmet burgers that are typically $15+ anywhere else.

On a business trip here from Chattanooga. We pulled up at 758PM and saw the sign said “Open til 8” So we sat in the parking lot googling new restaurant options. The guy came to lock the door and saw us in the parking lot. Not only did he NOT quickly lock the door and run away but he got our attention and asked if we were coming in. We said no we didn’t want to make them stay open to just serve us and he insisted we come on in that there were others inside still eating and they would be happy to serve us. When I tell you Fernando (hope I didn’t butcher his name) was hands down the most courteous and polite, helpful, friendly person I am not lying. The food was really good… like REALLY good… but the service was top notch. Fernando talked to us a bit and told us about the restaurant and was excited about his job and what he does. It showed. He’s passionate about where he works. I rarely do Google reviews but I couldn’t not give this guy a shout out.

First time eating here. The food was delicious! I got a cheese burger with sweet potato fries, which were absolutely amazing! I also got a milkshak which was good, but I thought it was way overpriced. Great atmosphere and music playing! Definitely will be back!
