I got the sampler & it was AMAZING! It came with pulled pork, brisket, chicken, sausage, ribs, 2 sides & bread. The meats were so tasty, full of flavor, juicy, and fresh. The barbecue sauce was just right, slight sweetness, slight tang, with a slight bite in spiciness. The macaroni and cheese was creamy. Love the hatch chili cheese grits was delicious! The people working there was so friendly, and so helpful. I couldn’t eat all of my meal, had to break it up into 2 extra meals.

Went there for a lunch for the first time – and just wow! The best brisket I’ve ever had in TN! Very juicy and flavorful! You are offered the option of lean or marbled meat cut when you order – which was very helpful! Sides were amazing too! And I liked their soda – it was not too sweet as popular brands. Definitely will be back!

Hopwood was really good! Sometimes, it can be tough to make BBQ quick, but they did a great job. The food was really good and I strongly enjoyed the craft soda. I had the Mac n cheese and the beans as sides, and I liked both of them. The Mac n cheese was perfect topped with their BBQ sauce! At the end of your meal they even give you a moon pie!

I read the reviews…doubted what I read…and gladly admit that I was wrong! Seriously…this place is legit, with some of the absolute best food I’ve ever eaten. Food quality was superb, taste was incredible, cooked perfectly, and the staff was amazing. I’d give this place 6 stars if Google would allow me. Overall, this place was alright. Cool atmosphere, staff were very friendly. Food came out quick. Sandwich was barely warm, I like my food hot. The sandwich tasted good but was almost cold. The grits weren’t the best. I’d come back and try something different. The sauces were good, though the spicy red wasn’t spicy.

It’s a very decent BBQ joint. Loved the sodas on “tap”, food was good but not exceptional. Prices are very fair for what you get. Banana Pudding was the star. Did love that while we ate someone dropped off free Moonpies, very sweet!

That’s good Q, real good Q. Doesn’t look from the outside like it would be good Q since it’s it a strip mall, but I’m telling ya, that’s real good Q. In fact, all the meats were so good I can’t even tell you which is the best. Sauce was very unnecessary, but delicious as well. Kale slaw is wildly delectable and those ice box pickles made my day.

Loved this place!! Above and beyond helpful/courteous staff, clean and cute appearance, and best of all: awesome BBQ!! I got this potato there, it was excellent. It had 3 or 4 sauces on it and lots of BBQ inside. Several people in our group got ribs and enjoyed them.
