This place is a step back in time in the best ways imaginable. The BBQ is real, made on an old school stick burning smoker. The service was great, and the atmosphere feels like you have stepped into the 1950s.

Size of ribs was impressive, and they were tasty, though I think they only waved them though some smoke a few times. Mustard sauce was phenomenal, and the brisket sandwich quite tasty, even though I was offered lettuce and tomato on it! Mac and cheese, very tasty too. No inside seats, but tables available outside. Solid choice.

The little restaurant was busy both times we visited this week. For breakfast we ordered a sausage and egg buttermilk biscuit, a breakfast bowl with smoked ham, and a plain buttermilk biscuit. Delicious!

We were running late for a flight, my husband was starving, and Zims had our backs! They were open at 11am, had a drive thru, fast friendly service, and the food is ten stars every time. The corn bread, we didn’t even order. Best I’ve ever had. Thank you Zims for saving the day!
