It was our first visit to this restaurant. We took the 2 grandsons. They loved it! The hot dogs were delicious and we loved the atmosphere. Mt wife and I will be back and next time, we will take advantage of the fully stocked bar and imported beer.

This place is next level cool. We had plans for another hot dog spot in New Orleans but got hungry and found Bruiser’s. Very chill spot, currently decorated in quirky Christmas decor, with great food. The host/bartender was super friendly and we got to meet the owner. Loved the Dirty Dale, Schwarber Tots and Boudin. Oh, and the apple punch!

I love this place and the hotdogs are AMAZING !!! Please don’t EVER close this restaurant. Even if you want to retire, PLEASE pass on your recipes & menu for someone else to run it for you. I would be extremely depressed if you ever had to to permanently close this joint .

Great gourmet hot dogs, tater tots with various toppings and now fried boudin balls using boudin from The Best Stop in Scott, Louisiana. Always entertaining. Only issue is they don’t stay open long enough in the evening…

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I am not a hot dog fan…and was thinking what am I going to eat? Alaskan Cod Sandwich…it was great! Loved the tartar sauce!!! But being the foodie that is am..I tried the New Yorker (got a couple of bites from my husband), the Jambalaya Dog (a bite of my oldest) and a bite of Dirty Dell dog (from my youngest) and I have to say it was so good! Mind you even though it says 6″ hot dog the servings are huge! The wait staff were so helpful and friendly. Owner came and had a chat with us, great guy!! Definitely going back!! BTW if your a Chicago Cubs fan…definitely the place to be during the season!

Great company and the food always comes out quickly and fresh. Melissa and Kevin always cater to the needs of the customer and have great conversations. They add new and interesting drink or menu items often and it’s always good. I enjoy coming here and will continue to come as often as I can.

Lots of fun, quirky choices. Super fresh, soft sourdough buns and large, juicy hot dog. I tried the Duca Dog (sans cole slaw) and a side of sausage jambalaya. Both very good. Cute little atmosphere (owner is huge Cubs fan), nice patio seating available, decent beer and drink selection. This was my first experience here, and I’ll definitely be back.

I had the All-American Hotdog, tots and a soda. I requested my onions grilled and they did. I love the grilled dog, however, the chili was somewhat bland. This place is a “Chicago” fans dream as there are tons of memorabilia everywhere! Maybe Chicago prefers bland chili?? The tots were amazing! Hot and crispy. Best I’d had in awhile .
