The negative reviews on this place are left by trashy burger king loyalists who have never eaten at a real restaurant. The portions are fine for the quality of food. If you want a mass amount of slop to feed your fat belly go to costco and get a chicken bake with a $1.50 hotdog and then a $10 dans pizza.

I have been to Model Citizen twice now, once for happy hour and once for dinner, and both times were excellent. First of all, the staff is friendly, attentive, and make great recommendations. When our reserved table wasn’t ready timely (and when I was served the wrong entree) they took immediate ownership and apologized. Mistakes happen, people are human.

Model Citizen has a young feel and a clean design aesthetic. The food was all pretty good. We tried a variety of drinks, entrees and sides. All good. The food is not cheap however with entrees in the $30-35 range. We might not rush back to Model Citizen but we’d be open to returning.
