This was our first visit to McAlister’s. We each had the McAlister’s Club. It truly was delicious, the meats and cheeses were very fresh and the bacon was just perfect. We will be returning. Can’t believe I forgot to order the colossal carrot cake, darn!

I recently came to the McCalisters in Newburgh and the young lady clearly was tired and was ready to go home. When I pulled up to pick up my order, she looked at me, rolled her eyes, came to the drive thru window, opened it and just looked at me as to say “What do you want!?” She didn’t greet me, she didn’t say hello welcome to McCalister’s. What’s the name for the order? She literally stared at me for 15 seconds m. Then she proceeded to treat me as if she didn’t even want to serve me and she was just ready to go home. While her other colleagues stood around behind her on their phones. Hey, I get it, this is the generation that we have to deal with and I know what working hard on your feel will do to you. Not to mention dealing wi the nasty customers, of which I am not one! However, they to have to learn customer service and maturity when working these jobs. The food is always amazing! It’s just this is the fourth time I’ve had this kind of service and quite frankly it’s unacceptable . I hope a manager or someone sees this and can address this issue.

If I could give this zero stars I would. My wife and I came in this Mcalister’s restaurant in Newburgh, In around 7:45 on Sunday Evening. We were the only customers in the building. When we came up to the order window there was someone changing out the tea and at one time 3 other workers were behind the counter, we were never asked if they could help us or take our order, instead they all ended up heading back to the kitchen talking among themselves. At this point we decided they mustn’t need our business and walked out the door.

Food was ok. We got nachos, a Ruben, and a kids pizza. Pizza was a microwave sams club style 5″ pizza lacking flavor. The nachos were mostly meat, very little cheese, and the Ruben was all sour kraft. Price wise it was expensive per the quality of food.

Very clean eat in environment, you can’t say that about to many fast food places. Always wonderful service and great staff. Last week I called in a last second order for some soup to pick up. I explained to the person on phi e I was already there and was hoping they good get me in drive through without a wait due to a sick kiddo. Not only did they say no problem but he put a cookie in the bag with a note that said get well soon for my sick kiddo. Went above and beyond. So wish I had his name.
