This is not your typical communal hot pot dining experience – instead of ordering separate plates of various uncooked meat and veggie ingredients to be cooked in a soup base broth with fellow companions at your table, individual pre-assembled bowls of soup are delivered to each diner. (A portable burner keeps the soup bubbling and hot while you eat.) Although this is a convenient concept for those who prefer not to mix their food with others, personally for me this defeats the fundamental appeal behind the hot pot format. The pre-set meal removes the interactive experience of selecting each bite of food and cooking it yourself, watching the soup get increasingly richer as layers of flavor are added over the course of the evening.

Last night (10-17-2022), we took my mom to this restaurant to try out. It wasn’t as busy as it was my first time. I noticed a couple new people and the owners were there to train the new staff. Service was a lot better and more attentive than before. It’s a good sign for a change. Cups of water was served after being seated. Prompt slushy drink was served. Our food was served promptly thereafter. My aunts ordered the Thai Style and Milky Cheese, my mom ordered the Popcorn Chicken and I ordered the Sukiyaki. I must say that the Sukiyaki is a sweet soup probably because of the crab and it comes with udon in it. It was tasty. Everyone enjoyed their orders and the fire experience of their soups. By check-out time, we were given their promo discount, buy 3 soups and get 1 soup free. It’s a good deal for groups of 4 or more people. We were also given a sample dessert of their honey jello at the end. It was a nice gesture. My family will come again soon.

Had a great experience here. Attentive staff and tasty food. They even went above and beyond when my wife didn’t like the miso soup that came with one of our dishes. Without us even asking or expecting it, they removed the whole dish off our bill. We will definitely be coming back with the amazing service.

Wow…this spot is straight fire on all levels! Flavor, spice, customer service, portions…everything! I love the variety and selection of their menu, all styles of soups ranging from Taiwanese to Thai to Japanese. All the ingredients are hefty and not skimpy like Boiling Point. They actually give you generous portions! Everything was so flavorful, I haven’t enjoyed soup like that in a while. Now for the kicker…. their milk teas and green teas are the freaking best! There are 2 milk tea places next door to them and this place smashes them both. I can’t believe I slept on this spot for months. Its definitely my go to for soup from now on!

I ordered through Doordash. This review is not about the restaurant or its food, but about the delivery driver named Manuel. He left the food on the floor at my door even though I asked for “hand it to me.” I realised why he did that. The soup broth spilled all over the popcorn chicken making it soggy. Both bags had food spilled inside AND OUTSIDE! EVEN THE RECEIPT OUTSIDE THE BAG WAS SOILED WITH FOOD. I cannot help but think that this driver intentionally mishandled the food as it had to take some effort to spill out of well covered plastic containers. The food looks good but I have not eaten any of it. I’m not sure what else Manuel may have done to the food. I have taken pictures and video. This is beyond outrageous! I have not called the restaurant as they are closed and will reopen later for dinner. I have been ordering from Doordash for more than a year and I know the difference between food spilling by accident (which I understand) and food being mishandled deliberately by drivers. I feel badly for the restaurants. I will contact Doordash as well.

Great food and quick service. Free black or green tea was given with your lunch purchase! You order through QR code menu, but it won’t let you pay through the QR website, that was a little confusing. You get a bill at the end of the meal to take up front, this allows you to order any extra stuff, but was not explained to us. Pictured is the mushroom pot with beef instead of pork.

“Pot on Fire” is one of the Best hotpot in town. I like their individual hot pot a lot, it’s boiling hot. The menu has many different types of hot pot to select from and you can choose the level of spiciness mild, medium or very spicy. I got very spicy Kimchi hotpot, it was fantastic
