Now I remember why I haven’t eaten at Bellevue Gold Star Chili in 3 1/2 years. I ordered a #2 with Mt.Dew. The 3 cheese coneys with NO ONION NO MUSTARD light sauce, and a regular 3-way. I got lots of sauce and almost zero cheese. By the time I got home in Cold Springs KY it wasn’t worth it I just threw them out. Looks like I’m back to Skyline Chili.

I ordered a Coney crate with heavy chili. I asked the girl at the microphone to make sure it’s heavy, chilli she said, OK I also ordered a fry, but I told her never mind about it and then she got an attitude with me. I got all the way home and realized that my cronies really had no silly but just a smear I called and I didn’t answer.

Didn’t think one could mess up a three way but I was proven wrong today. My chili spaghetti was a greasy, wet mess…with emphasis on the greasy. Don’t know if they scooped the very top layer of sauce from the pot to put on mine or what, but I hope it doesn’t happen again.

My husband’s family has been going to this particular Gold Star for four generations, just like Schneider’s sweet shop. I have written a Google review for that as well. Anyhow, we went on Saturday morning, March 18th, 2023 right after they had opened. I decided to take a chance on the loaded chili cheese fries. If you have not tried it YOU MUST! All the flavors combined; the chili, the cheese, the sour cream, the chipotle sauce, the bacon, and (of course) the fries are absolutely PHENOMENAL! Not only was the food spectacular but the service was too! They talked to my children so sweetly and were attentive to them. This has always been by far the BEST Gold Star that we visit. KUDOS to the manager and super sweet staff of the Bellevue Gold Star. They absolutely earned ALL FIVE STARS!

If I can show you a picture of a shake that is for a toddler and make you pay 6 dollars for it. The cup is not even half way full. You have to literally scream at them to make it a whole cup of shake (mind you they do not want to give you a refund for their messups so they using doordash to reject all refund requests period. but they wants your money. This was supposed to been a Cincinnati favorite that turns around and just take your money an give you poor service and resolutions. This is sad and all the gold star chili places are doing it like it’s ok
