A delightful Mexican restaurant adjacent to a gas station. It’s next to a fast-food sandwich shop and a convenience store. It’s a counter-order operation, with ordering right next to the grill. A decent selection of Mexican foods with ample amounts of food for a very good price. For my burnt-out taste buds, mild-to-medium spicy seasonings. Decorations are traditional, with a vivid mural depicting a typical Mexican town. A convenient place to drop in for a quick, delicious meal.

The Food is Excellent and great portions! The place is big and spacious ( for our area) the service for me was proficient not unkind, a smile at 10 am would work wonders). I wait by the counter and the cooks are friendly & great! Don’t miss it out on this authentic gem!

Went to go eat with my family today after my wife finished her meal we discovered hair in her food. quickly went to go get the issue addressed. The owner seem not to care and went on about his business. Very unsatisfied. Don’t know what happened today we usually visit every week. Won’t be back again.

Food taste is excellent!! It tastes like homemade food. It has “sazon”. I especially love el burrito de asada. Meat does not have chunks of fat that typically other restaurants leave on the meat. Meat is nice and soft. This is hands down my favorite place in town to eat and take my family.

We came to Efren’s in search of some yummy Mexican food. We both ordered the quesabirrias tacos and wow they were so delicious. Paired with some chips and salsa plus a Mexican coke, what wasn’t to love. We were very happy and would love to visit again.

The Customer Service in the Santa Maria location is Horrible & Rude!! The food is just NOT the same as the one in Oceano Location . Plus the Portions much smaller in Santa Maria.and it doesn’t taste the same . Oceano Location has the Best food and much Friendlier Service.
