Something was off here. When we got there we ordered and were super excited based off the previous reviews. Our food took over 45 min to come out which was very odd to me for a BBQ place. Keep in mind we were the only ones in there for food when we placed the order. The ribs were $45 and were fine but maybe I was just starving hungry. Nothing special. Dry and tough. The pulled pork and potato salad were inedible. The Mac & cheese was an odd one. They brought out 2 separate orders of it. The first order was great. The 2nd order looked and tasted like boxed macaroni. I’m honestly not sure what to even think about this place, but something was off. If they didn’t have items or were out, I wish they would have said something. Honestly and standing behind your product is #1 on my list and there was no attempt to say hey sorry we don’t have that let’s find a solution or an attempt to explain why ribs and pulled pork takes 45 minutes. There’s no reason to spend $84 for subpar food. We won’t be back.

yum! i’m from texas so i realllly craved a southern meal so i got the fried chicken, mac & cheese with a side of cornbread. I was expecting a tiny piece of cornbread and they gave me this HUGE rectangle hahaha. It was very very sweet because of the honey so it pairs well with the mac & cheese or chicken. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked, SUPER hot when i got it so i know for a fact it’s made fresh. I ended up burning my tongue lol. The mac and cheese was also so so good. Thanks for giving this texas girl a warm meal on a super cold day. 🙂 ((there was way more chicken but i ate it hahahahaha))

Located in the back of the elks club, we didn’t know until we walked in. One rack of St. Louis ribs was $55… double what we have paid anywhere else. Beans were overcooked and bland.

My New Year’s Eve 55$ rack of ribs was baked in foil, were not good. No word back about why they didn’t actually fire up the smoker on my expensive rack of ribs, but took a short cut. To me, they should have just said they are not selling them today. The pulled pork was decent, but not from a smoker or grill. Evidence was no blacked edges. See pics below of what I should have been served and what I was served for the 55$ rack of ribs. We through them in the garbage after.

It’s in the back of the VFW. $55 for a rack of ribs with two sides. Ribs were tough. Beans were bland. Coleslaw was barely OK.

Food was FANTASTIC!! We had the brisket, pulled pork sandwich and chili. The brisket was peppery, tender and tasty. Chili was out of sight and OMG, the ribs! Can’t wait to come back.

The food is outstanding. Some reviews say that this place doesn’t really seem like a restaurant. They are correct. While the atmosphere is a legion(Elks) and looks a little like a bar, the service and food where amazing. Everything is hand made and fresh. I had the ribs, and friends had jerk chicken and pulled pork. Everything was perfect. Would go again.
