Beautiful place! We were elated to find this place on Monday afternoon during our visit to the Discovery and Science museum nearby. We were on vacation and don’t know the area, and were so happy to find good service and a spot that was actually open, as we noticed that a few of other places on that street were closed on Monday. The decor is gorgeous and so reflective of Dominican culture. The service was excellent and the prices were more than fair, the lunch specials were a particularly great deal. The food was also good, beautifully plated by a chef that clearly takes great care and pride in his work. 2 out of the 3 meals we got were excellent and one, the Mofongo was not bad just not to my liking and a little too drenched with sauce. If I ever find myself back here I may order it again without the sauce because it was overpowering the flavors of everything else on the plate and I didn’t enjoy it, but that’s my personal taste on one dish because everything else was excellent. The coke I ordered was flat and didn’t taste good, but we didn’t order any cocktails so can’t speak to their quality.

We happened to be in the area and were looking for lunch. El Tiesto was open and looked like a fun atmosphere. We are so glad we did!!! The food was absolutely amazing! Our waiter, I wish I could remember his name was phenomenal. Best mofongo I have ever had hands down!!!!! Add this place to your to try list and you will not be disappointed. Also looks like a great place to dance with my latin wife after hours!

I tried this restaurant for my birthday brunch. I was seated immediately upon arriving. They had a great unlimited mimosas and sangria special. Drinks were good and food was delicious. The DJ definitely gives it a great vibe. Love how we can sit down and still be in a party setting. Definitely will be visiting again!

Amazing service, super friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 23 for a birthday dinner and they took care of everyone’s needs and had a super cute cake showing. The vibe is super cool and everything was very clean.

Atmosphere amazing, service as good as it could get, but drinks were bad. There was no consistency on them, even giving drinks in plastic cups which measurement to the glass cups were way off and charging the same price. I would expect that in a low tier nightclub, but here it was labeled as their specialty drinks.
