Food is amazing but it takes away from the service experience. I order with Grubhub all the time & I guess the restaurant uses its own drivers, which I wasn’t aware of. Normally I tip after I receive my food from bad past experience & that’s what I was planning on doing. The driver got mad at me because I didn’t have the tip in form of cash which who uses cash any more. I tried to explain to him & show him I was going to tip on the app & he got so angry at me & told me not to order there anymore. I called the restaurant to tell them how rude he is & they just condoned him behavior. That is not how you treat paying customers. I use to work in restaurants so I get it 100% & but what could of been a $5 tip turn to .01 penny since he wanna be rude, maybe they should be paying there employees more maybe he’ll be more nice & receive more tips. No wonder this place has a bad rep.

I honestly feel as though most reviews give this place a bad rap while not looking at the ‘big picture’. #1. They’re the ONLY food option in the Boston area (that we’re aware of) that stays open past 10pm. #2. Of course they aren’t ‘cheap’… they own & operate a business in Boston, MA. Nothing here is anywhere close to cheap. #3. The portion of food for the price is reasonable to say the least. One out of the two meals pictured, would easily serve as three meals for just one person.

After the near two hour late mark. I figured I need to call the restaurant and make sure my order was even still coming. After being briefly put on hold. I was informed my order was indeed “on the way”. Bit past the 2 hour mark and my phone rings. It’s the delivery driver informing me he’s downstairs. My son overheard this conversation and was so hungry by then, he ran off downstairs himself to get it. He gets the to door to find the delivery guy shining his flashlight on the order receipt like he’s doing some forensic detective work. He mentions to my son “where my tip?” For a past 2 hour late order mind you. And after my son explained he didn’t make the order, “his dad did”. Aka, my wallet is upstairs. The driver flat out got angry and told him to “not order from them again”. I agree…

The food is fine, but there’s much to be desired with their service. You can wait in upwards of an hour to receive a delivery. Then these people have the nerve to ask, for tips, they literally will ask you, “no tip?” So today I called to place an order, and the server accused me of having had insufficient funds to pay for my food (12.00) back in April. Bear in mind, I order food from this place 2 to 3 times a month. So I’ve placed several orders since April, and was never informed of this. If the card numbers were not input correctly, that’s not my fault and or problem. But rather than communicate professionally (your own error) you decided to accuse me, the customer, and when I expressed my frustration, you hang up the phone. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!

The food here is a go to when you don’t want to cook. Teriyaki chicken bowl is a staple (must try) with white rice & veggies (optional). We also get sesame chicken plates w white rice. We get take out at least once a week here. Too small to eat in.

Terrible. We ordered take out and the staff could not understand what we were ordering even when we pointed to the item on the menu. It took 3 people to enter the order. When our food was ready the staff made a huge show of checking our receipt and telling us each item was in the bag…. we were missing 2 whole orders. When I called and asked for a refund of the missing items the lady on the phone tried negotiating giving us less money back, she even said she had the items in front of her and knew they forgot to give us the items but it took a 30 minute phone call for her to agree to refund. That was 3 days ago and they still have not processed the refund. Terrible food, terrible business, and extremely dishonest.

I ordered some food December 30th 2021 I ordered a family size chicken finger cuz my daughter’s literally only love chicken fingers ordered this before a few times. This is the first time more than half of the chicken fingers were not cooked fully. Only the smaller ones were fully cooked the rest of them were full with batter when you bit into them. The picture I’m taking now is from two days later eating leftovers I reheated in my air fryer and still the batter is like that I’m so disgusted. Pretty sad that I’m probably not going to order there anymore. Also the diamonds ever got my food I walked in and there was several people just was standing around nobody asked me can they help me I literally had to say hey can you come over here and let me pick up my food before somebody helps me.

I popped into the Teriyaki House in Southie the other day & got the white meat only, Chicken Teriyaki with vegetable fried rice & an order of Chicken fingers, everything was great! My only note to them is that they should really change the fried chicken fingers bc too much batter, but the chicken fingers at Cathay Pacific are amazing, it’s not like a small piece of chicken dropped into a large shell of dough, they actually just roll their chicken in flour & bread crumbs so I’m not likely to order Chicken fingers at The Teriyaki House again. I’m sorry just being totally honest. Everything else was great though!!
