Got the all-you-can-eat hotpot. We’re giving drinks but a long time before order was brought. The second order was brought fairly quickly but the third time we put an order in it took almost 45 minutes from the time of the waiter taking the order till the time the food was brought out and still had the cook at the table and the place did not seem that busy. All-in-all a fair experience, my first visit was much better. The food was good and I may have caught the service on an off-night. I will probably try once again

Our favorite Chinese/fusion restaurant! Tasty, tasty food, regardless if you’re eating in or out. There’s really a difference in taste at Ichiban compared to other restaurants. It’s a clear level or two above your average Chinese food fare.

Come hungry if doing buffet, all you can eat and half off menu items. Cool atmosphere and great food/experience if never done hot pot. Make sure to go with someone that knows what to order and order to place ingredients in hot pot. Great food and the pictures I took doesn’t do the food justice. Great sushi and and has a variety of meats including octopus and squid.

The building is very rundown and shabby outside. The inside wasn’t much better – to the point that it even looked dirty. The light fixture over our table was full of dead bugs and mildew. The worst part however was that it was FREEZING inside. The day was in the 40’s and raining and there was clearly no heat in the restaurant. Indoor temp was probably in the low 50’s and we were very uncomfortable. We ordered all you can eat sushi ($30 per person) and were disappointed to find out that there was an additional $10 charge per person if you ordered sashimi. We love maki however the maki here was not good, at all. It was loaded with heavy sauces and way too much mayo but they state they will double your bill if you don’t finish what you order so we basically made ourselves sick trying to finish these odd, heavy, overly rich maki rolls…but in the end didn’t really get much food for our “all you can eat”. Worst part: we both experienced some ” intestinal urgency” within an hour of finishing the lunch. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

ordered through grub hub because i has a gift card. placed my order around 6 and didn’t receive my order until almost 8. sure, that’s probably on grub hub. but the food… is a different story. i ordered a kani salad, and it is SWIMMING in mayo. almost inedible. it made me gag with the amount of mayo in it. the spicy tuna roll is bright red…. why? sweet potato tempura roll is not in the slightest bit crunchy. just mush. i got another roll with shrimp, probably the only edible part of my order. do better
