Enjoyed dinner at 1741 Terrace on 2/25. Such a beautiful landmark! The service is impeccable and the food is a culinary delight! We had caesar salad, bread, shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and salmon. Everything was prepared to perfection! Dessert of chocolate mousse was the grand finale! Highly recommend and look forward to our next trip!

Desert plates came in not washed and had to return them (multiple) apparently they stack washed and unwashed together. The waiter didn’t give importance to our complaint and said we usually charge 0.5 cent per plate we will waive this. Yes that was the response of a five stars restaurant. The food was delivered in the wrong order and we had to redistribute our plates. Zero stars, not acceptable.

Strange meal at Hotel Bethlehem Terrace restaurant. We made lunch reservations on line (and their website and Google said it was open) but when we arrived they said to eat in the bar area in lobby instead. We asked why the terrace wasn’t open for our reservation and they said it is, but they usually seat people at the bar for lunch. I think they shouldn’t advertise the terrace room for lunch then ♀️. The food was horrible, really poorly made. Kids each had Mac and cheese of kids menu and it had too much oily cheese in it. My sons Shirley temple had food debris in it. My pappardelle was tasteless; I added salt but it just didn’t help, there was no flavor. My husband said it tasted as plain as water. His meal consisted of cold, soggy fries and a fried green tomatoes sandwich that only had flavor in the sauce on the bun. The beef barely soup was also described as tasteless. The only good dish was the turkey club which was very good. The servers were very helpful and the room is beautiful, but they should use fresh flowers or clean/dust the fake ones they use everywhere as they were very dirty and grey.

We had a great experience here at the Bethlehem Hotel. Super clean and fancy. Service was very attentive. Oh yeah and the cheesesteak was by far the best cheesesteak we ever ate. Check out the pictures. The meat has so much flavor and with the cheese it actually melted in my mouth. You have to try one.

Food and drinks were great. We ordered the potstickers and hummus as appetizers and a caesar salad to share. I ordered the special of the day, which was scallops with different squash and mushrooms – amazing. My husband ordered the crab cakes with potatoes and asparagus – also amazing. We got the peach Bellini-type cocktail as well as watermelon margaritas (can’t remember the exact names). Both were super good.

The food was delicious but the service was slow and the staff never pre-bussed our table and we were left to stack dishes as each course was brought out. Even once stacked, the staff never noticed. At a small two person table with multiple courses, it did not feel like upscale service. The server never checked in to see if we wanted another drink until we were finished with our meals. The pace was incredibly slow and we were left waiting multiple times with no staff around.

Food was pretty good. Specialty cocktails were great. Shrimp cocktail and crab cake was great. Filet was slightly burned. Pricey. Fees for room service and gratuity also included.

Server was amazing and really cared about us enjoying the food and our experience. Definitely more pricey than other breakfast spots on Main Street but it’s to be expected since it’s inside Hotel Bethlehem.

Just returned from our 53rd Wedding Anniversary dinner at the 1741 Terrace at the Hotel Bethlehem. One of the worst dining experiences of our lifetime! The ambience was awesome. But the service AWFUL. They had only two servers in the dining room and they could not provide the attention deserved from an upscale dining venue. But the other help was even worse. For an entire hour, the wait staff failed to fill our water glasses. They served rolls, but no plates to put them on. I had probably the worst Bloody Mary of my life. Just tomato juice, no spices, and a giant celery stalk. Food took forever to come out and when our entrees finally arrived THEY WERE COLD. We had to send them back and wait another 20 minutes until fresh entrees were re-fired. We complained to the manager who at least comped us desserts. But it was our Anniversary anyway. We were there for over two hours, most of the time wasted. This is not a cheap restaurant. It is supposed to be fine dining. But it was a HUGE disappointment. OVERRATED.
