The name sets the stage. Waffles are puff pastry style waffles. It is flaky on the outside which creates that extra crunchy texture. Very creative take on waffles. When you first bite into the paffles, you are surprised by the airiness of the waffles, followed by the filling of your choice. Great experience and food is very enjoyable.

Husband and I visited on a whim last weekend and we’d pleasantly surprised! The waffles were so light and airy. Husband had trio coffee which he said was good, and I had a caramel latte with their homemade syrup. It was a bit too sweet for me, but was very good! (I usually get one pump less syrup when I go to Starbucks, for reference). We’d absolutely go back again if we’re in the area.

I ordered the fried chicken paffle with avocado. It was delicious. The paffle was flaky and moist. There is just enough syrup and all flavors came together nicely. A friend ordered a dessert paffle and it was wonderful -cannoli; the cream was thick and flavorful.

Amazing little counter service shop with waffle sandwiches made from puff pastry and every filling you can imagine. I had a chorizo, hash brown sandwich and it was amazing. My wife had the gluten free and it was spectacular as well. A must have if your in the area.

Go for something new. What you need to know: you’re ordering a “sandwich”. What you’re choosing is what goes on your paffle sandwich. I had chicken and chorizo. My wife had just chicken. It was good food! Cool atmosphere! Really enjoyed their “wall of shame”! Camera shots of people that stole things! Lol. Love it! Parking was a bit convoluted for an out-of-towner. There’s a big pay lot that is free on Sundays.

Stopped in here for food and coffee after running the Charlottesville half marathon in the rain early Saturday morning. It’s a tiny place but the paffle was good – I got strawberry compote, peanut butter and sliced banana. Coffee was good as well. There was quite a few people in there but staff seemed to be quick on their feet and people weren’t waiting long. My order was ready minutes after ordering.

Food is unique and delicious. Quality ingredients and food made well despite being busy. Very gluten free / celiac safe. Everything we had was good except the mac and cheese as a side isn’t great. Works better as a filling with the chicken on the paffle.
