Really cool stop that has easy parking and great food. It doesn’t look like much from the road but it has a nice atmosphere inside and in the back they have patio dining with a water fall and some games that can be played while waiting for drinks or dinner. The server was over worked but never acted like she was stressed was very personable and never made us wait. The only slightly negative thing was my burger was a little overcooked… Which is very minor and I never specified how I wanted it cooked anyways.

If you’re in South Lake Tahoe, make sure to head towards Zephyr Cove to this little hole in the wall. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the outside seating in the back is like a little oasis with a waterfall and plenty of seating. Admittedly we weren’t expecting a whole lot, but we were pleasantly surprised by nearly everything we ordered. The fried chicken sandwich was huge and delicious (the alfredo sauce is a stroke of genius!), the fish and chips had a very generous portion, and the lasagna was surprisingly outstanding – bravo to whomever thought of adding a layer of pepperoni – brilliant! The prices are very reasonable. My only minor complaint is that the fries and chicken sandwich could have used a touch more salt. Overall we had a great meal in a nice atmosphere.

This place was seriously outstanding! My favorite place we have eaten in Tahoe, if not anywhere. Loved the atmosphere. Amazing food and good portions. We got the chili fries which had such impressive flavor and was filling. The salad and artichoke chicken sandwich was also super good. My husband liked his burger. Highly recommend! Seems like it’d be a great pub at night but we were not here for this.

Always have great eats and apres ski scene here. Chill people relaxing after a day of skiing actually mingle. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. What am I saying? They’re *cool*. They talk, chop it up. Keep it friendly but professional. The patrons, also, talk. Been coming for years ownership changes a few times but this iteration (Blue Lake Tavern, formerly Wally’s Huddle – and something else before), is my favorite.

We had the pizza, and we love the crunch when we bit into it, and it’s thin crust too! The toppings were delicious. Our dog loved the outdoor setting, and service was awesome. We appreciate getting water and ice refill for our water pack in the hot weather too.

The BLT pizza is my new favorite pizza. The mushroom gravy is their version of marinara with mushroom ground in. It’s delightfully flavorful. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive.

Went here Friday afternoon. Staffing was a little short so it took a bit to order & get our check. We got the artichoke pinsas & it was delicious! Definitely recommend but I’m sure all their pizza & pinsas are really good. Menu prices were prices were decent. Check it out. It looked like a cute little tavern.
