Wow! My wife and I ate here for the first time on our honeymoon and it’s our new favorite place in Ludington. We got there right at 5, got seated, and ordered garlic knots and salad. We didn’t know there was complimentary bread, so we got even more than we needed and took the garlic knots back to our bed and breakfast for a nighttime snack. For our entrees, we ordered steak and lobster tails. Everything was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. My wife said the steak is the best she’s ever had, and she’s picky! There was someone coming to top off our water every time it got low and servers were helping each other clear off our plates as we finished. We recommend this restaurant to anyone wondering if they should try it!

Ludington is a small port town on the east side of Lake Michigan and like most small towns restaurants are generally fast food and far between. Timbers Prime being the exception. Service was exceptional, our waitress, Julie, checked back frequently and went out of her way to be sure things were good. Food was also excellent. Not being terribly crowded and quiet was also a plus. Looking forward to a repeat performance!!

Dined here for the first time to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it was amazing! Our server Nancy was wonderful and really took care of us! This was our first time in Ludington for a day trip and our dinner here was the cherry on top of such a memorable visit! We will definitely visit again next time we are in town!

5 stars! Especially for our server, Nancy. Started with warm bread accompanied by a delicious garlic butter. Between me and my husband, we ordered an NY strip and their steak tips pasta. Both were delicious. We were too stuffed to have dessert, but they all sounded great.

First time for us- it was our anniversary and they gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate! The food was outstanding We had the age dried steak and salmon Both were superb! Julie was our server and she was superb! Highly recommend this place! We will go back many times!!!

My husband and I recently visited Timbers Prime and we had a lovely experience. The dinner food was phenomenal! I got the Bourbon Apple Pork Chops and my husband got the Twin Lobster Tails. The pork chops were moist, full of flavor, and a good portion size. My husband said his lobster tails were the biggest he’s seen and some of the best he’s tasted.

We started off with drinks; I got a cup of tea (which was $5!?) and my girlfriend got a glass of Moscato which she enjoyed. We then were served some complimentary bread which was freshly baked with herbed butter to spread, which was very tasty! For dinner, I got the 16oz Prime Rib dinner with red skin mashed potatoes and the veggie of the day which was sauteed zucchini (not much flavor to the veggies sadly). The prime rib was also too done for me, I asked for Medium Rare and it came out very medium. Because of this the chef offered us complimentary vanilla bean icecream, which was quite delightful! My girlfriend got the 6oz Filet Mignon dinner (pictured below), she enjoyed every bite of her steak… but unfortunately both her baked potato and zucchini were not cooked all the way. Her sour cream for her potato also had a long blonde hair in it which was unfortunate. The atmosphere was just okay, it was too quiet for my liking, they could definitely have some light music playing in the background.
