Had the ribeye, wasn’t shorted. Big steak, flavorful. My wife had the filet mignon (pictured). It was melt in your mouth good! When we visit Central Nebraska again, we will definitely try to make it back to Sandstone!

Fantastic fresh food! We ate here twice while staying next door at the Sandhills Suites. The steaks are incredibly tasty and tender. Lunch was just as delicious as dinner. Even the pie is amazing! We will definitely be back.

Been here multiple times and each time it was wonderful! Wonderful and flavorful sandwiches and a good variiety. Good selection of beer including locals. Always hard to save room and to choose from a LONG list of pies or other desserts all made there and fresh (one or two excepted but still locally made). Always Friendly always good service.

Ate at the Sandstone for the very first time!! The owners grew up in the same town as me! So I’ve known them since they were born! We had two others couples with us and the food was absolutely amazing….top notch! Our desserts were so scrumptious…cheese cake, Sour cream raisin pie and bread pudding!! Outstanding! Our meals included fabulous salads (so many choices) fish, chicken and steaks! All very very good! Do not wait as long as we did to eat at the Sandstone Grill!!! You are missing a wonderful experience! Our waitress was excellent…knew all menu questions and gave us great recommendations!! Hats on to Tenise, Tammy and all they’re employees!!! We will be back soon!!!!

My husband took me here for our anniversary. The food and service was excellent. The prime rib melted in your mouth it was absolutely delicious. The pie was awesome too. We will be goig back again.

This place has a great menu selection and excellent food. Our group of six was served promptly and well attended to. Samoa Pie ended the meal superbly! This visitor to Burwell was thoroughly impressed!

Have been here three times and it is always busy and a little loud but excellent food with a variety of choices, great service and reasonable pricing. The menu has gluten free and vegan/low carb options as well to accommodate a variety of diet restrictions. Service has always been friendly and warm. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
