Melissa (Goi) Long, former owner of the successful, NY Times featured restaurant TEAK – a local favorite in Red Bank, NJ – is opening a fast casual restaurant where she’ll share childhood memories of amazing Thai Cuisine, and offer the 4 star menu choices that gained her a featured acknowledgement in The NY Times.
Her restaurant, Goi Express, will offer dine in, take out, delivery and catering choices. In addition, to her creative inspired menu, she plans to offer vegetarians the opportunity to sample tasty, interesting Thai fusion dishes.

A friend introduced us to this Thai restaurant. The food is great and service is great too. All of the dishes we tried were yum! Pad Thai, beef curry, and some egg rolls. Everything was fresh. We want to try the other dishes and a dessert here.

Must try! Every single thing that i have tried here at Goi Thai has been absolutely delicious and so consistent every single time i dine. Chef Melissa has a magic touch with creating the best flavors and unique dishes that you truly will not find anywhere else in this area. Portions are huge and shareable! The lunch special is also a great deal. Plus, it’s just beautifully decorate inside. Always recommend!!

I had the good fortune to eat at Goi on 5/3/23 and it was so good I decided to eat lunch there the following day. You absolutely can’t go wrong with either of beef jerky or rib appetizers. The Curry Chicken was phenomenal . Melissa the owner has a true chef’s heart. She takes a great deal of pride watching others enjoy her creations. The portions are generous And the prices are great.

First time here. They have their regular menu and then a new fusion pizza menu. We felt like trying something new and tried the pizza and it was beyond delicious. We had the yellow curry chicken pizza and the braised beef pizza- some of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time. Both were A+ but the curry pizza was to die for- amazing. The regular food looks good too. The owner said the shrimp and crab pizza is the best so we will try that one for sure. The service was great and the staff was really nice and personable.

We stopped by Goi Express for lunch during our trip to CA, and the experience didn’t disappoint. The inside of the restaurant was clean, beautiful, and had a great vibe. I also love that the tables are large enough that you can enjoy your meal without feeling too cramped. Our family tried a lot of different plates and everyone seemed to have their own favorites. I loved the crab fried rice and green curry chicken, my husband is in love with the spring rolls, and the kids loved the pizza. We also tried the sticky toffee dessert which was amazing! The owner of the restaurant was very personable and took the time to personally greet not just us but all her other customers. Her pride of ownership really shows through in the restaurant, the cooking, and the way she interacts with the families and individuals that come through. Looking forward to stopping by on our next visit!

Omg. This is the best pad thai I have ever had in my life and I’ve had pad thai in Thai Town in LA. This place is the best in all of California (probably). Please try the chicken pad thai here. The portion is enormous (good for two people) and it is out of this world. Ten stars. I’d eat here every day if I can.

Goi Express blew our expectations out of the water! Out of the few Thai restaurants we’ve been to locally Goi Express is one of (if not THE) best. It was a tad pricey to eat outside of the lunch/dinner special hours which are during the weekdays, but it more than makes up for it in quantity and quality! We ordered Tom Yum, Drunken Noodles, Beef Basil Fried Rice, and Jalapeño Crab Cake and had so much food that it was enough to have for dinner between 3 people. The service was top notch too; they made sure we had everything we needed, answered our questions and gave us recommendations…it was like the cherry on top of a great food experience. We will definitely be coming again and recommend it to all we know.
