Service is friendly and quick. Food is tasty. The chicken empanadas are great! If you get anything with sauce on it, make sure one of your sides are fries. That way you can dip them in it. They also have two really nice salsas (red & green).

I’ve been coming to this location for years, I’ve seen the change between ownerships and I love how the new owners kept the authentic feel of Mi Bandera! One of the best spots! I do see that they don’t only do Colombian food, they do all latin flavors! Absolutely delicious!!!

Fresh and authentic Colombian food and pleasant service. Tasty, good portions and extensive menu. We started with empanadas and delicious homemade chicken soup, paired with passion fruit w milk juice and fresh lemonade. Main meal we tried the skirt steak and the grilled fish (plates are accompanied by 2-3 sides. So worth the money and time.

food had no taste and service was the worst. I never write bad reviews unless they deserve it.. I’m really sorry for the owners but get yourselves better cooks and servers than can put love into the job..

I took my husband for lunch here and the personnel was very cordial, the lemonade was out of this world, the paisa was very different thzn othrr restaurant in st. Pete but still good, great soups and thry had figs for dessert which was surprising, moderate up prices aguas frescas were great too.

Ehh, not sure I’d come back considering all the other great colombian places nearby. Prices on tapa style foods (empanadas, buñuelos, arepas…) is almost double what they should be. Hard to enjoy a good cup of coffee when it costs as much as Starbucks and is way less than half the size. Service was lacking when we ate there around noon on a Wednesday. Our cups of water were rarely refilled, and we had to wave down a server to get more condiments.

I just bought some empanadas, oh man I’m so sicken, it was like cream and under cooked. I been go here for maybe 2 decades, not continually, because I have been so disgusted, first time the meat was bad , and if it ain’t one thing its another. Never again, its over!

I can’t get enough of this restaurant. This is my go to Colombian food spot. I drive all the way from Brandon to eat here ever since I moved from Tampa. I just love their food, the sancocho is my absolute favorite plate on the menu. The empanadas are always fresh and perfectly fried. Their house made hot sauce (pique) is a must on all my meals. When I’m feeling extra naughty I’ll order their passion fruit juice in milk( maracuya en leche). I recommend trying it at least once. Let me not forget to mention that the employees are always super sweet and extremely attentive. I eat so good here every time and for great prices! I highly recommend this place.
