I was coming from Harrison NY. I noticed Big Jerk Jamaican restaurant in Saw Mill River Rd, Elmsford NY, it has been a long time since I had Jamaican food, I want to try this new place. I decided to get some breakfast, when I walked in, I said good morning the young lady, she didn’t respond, she wasn’t friendly, she just asked me what I want to order, I placed my order, took the bag, when I took the lid of the bowl, I was very disappointed the food was very greasy and tasteless. They are over priced and the place wasn’t clean. I gave them a D, the place needs improvements. I don’t recommend this place. I will not go back, it is a no for me

I work right up the street @ Fed Ex and a Jamaican coworker told me about this Jamaican restaurant down the road. He told me that was the worse restaurant he’s been to and the food was terrible. Today I decided to try the restaurant out for myself. When I walked in, the place looked dirty and run down, the girl behind the counter just looked at me. No, “Can I help you sir”. I ordered Samon with white rice and cabbage. It was pretty good but the cabbage tasted like plastic. I don’t think I’ll come back. Not exactly a welcoming friendly place! It looked like it should be condemned!

Was very disappointed! The Ackee & Salt Fish was ok, I have had better. But for the size of the small container how is it you only put two spoons full into the container?! Not a friendly atmosphere at all, I try my best to support “BLACK” own business, but sometimes you just can do it. ♀️ ♀️ I have gone to the Peruvian Restaurant right next door to this place & was greeted very pleasantly & had enough food left over for dinner!!!

Bought a fried chicken meal and decided to also purchase a grapenut icecream. Small tiny flies were seen on top of the other pan beside it. I was sick to my stomach. Never again. By the way the food was greasy and tasteless

I would give 0 stars if I could. The food is HORRIBLE and limited to choices. I got 2 pieces of cake with the horrendous food and they both had a strange/spoiled smell and taste. I’ll eat the tires on my car before I would ever eat there again. So disappointed.

We ordered for the first time today. I spoke to Tracy who was very nice and able to answer the majority of my questions. Unfortunately. we were disappointed when the food arrived. The dumpling we paid for did not arrive and the portions were not comparable for the price (especially the oxtail). The large oxtails & jerked chicken were pretty much the same amount as the smalls ordered…at $19 & $15…Very disappointing.
