I drove past here after an appointment and decided to look more into it. I saw they served french press coffee and that was something I was looking for at a coffee shop. For some reason it seems coffee shops never serve french press. So I thought, lets give it a shot! It was such a cute place. I was not expecting the deliciousness of the french press and what makes it even better is it’s their coffee and they sell it. I got a bag of the coffee they use for the french press so I could make some at home. Everyone was so sweet there, I met Bart’s daughter and she’s a doll! I have no problem making the 45 minute drive out there for their coffee! Oh also, they sell Skinny Syrups and I bought the Salted Caramel…so good!! They have a huge variety!

My boyfriend stopped in on the way home while I was sick to get me a little treat. He asked them if they had something for a sore throat, and one of the girls, Christine, made something for me (similar to Starbucks medicine ball). It’s actually VERY good, sort of like a cough drop in liquid form. The remedy has been great and helped soothe my throat amazingly. Of course, my boyfriend forgot his wallet and they allowed him to send money once he arrived home. Thanks so much for caring for your customers!

Barts is where I stop when I have an early trip out of Columbia NW. great visuals and atmosphere – I’m kinda sorry I get my cup to-go. It’s possibly the closest independent coffee shop to I-26 between Columbia and Spartanburg – so take a break and get a cup for the traffic.
