I ordered to pick up. The guy (guess he’s the owner) who I told my name to for the pick up, was quite rude and pushy. Wanted me to show an app first, just showed my seamless text, and told him my name. He went inside, took out the food, asked for my number. I gave it. It matched. And I was on my way. But the way he’s so pushy and careful, honestly annoyed me. I’ve never picked up food from someone so pushy and rude. It’s a disappointment, because the food isn’t all that bad. Oh well.

We ordered a bunch of appetizers which are pretty yummy. Would recommend the mix vegetable fritter. The cauliflower bites and shrimp are not bad either. The lamb has a strong Lamb smell, watch out if you are not used to it. The chicken meat balls are ok. Overall it’s really good!

This is probably the restaurant that I repeated the most here in NYC. My husband and I used to live close by but even after we moved to another neighborhood, we still go back. The environment is super simple – but don’t get fooled for that. The staff is super nice and the food… is delicious. We love Indian food and this place offer a lot of options. My order is always the same: fish curry. It’s super creamy and with a lot of spices. We always get the Garlic naan as well. The samosas are also a must. Also, the best part: lunch special everyday, 50% off from 11 am to 2:45 pm

It is one of the most authentic Indian taste restaurants. Loved the Bhel in the appetizers section. The main course included garlic naan, aalo gobi matar, and dal tadka. The taste was undoubtedly satisfying. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I am a longtime customer of Mughlai! I have lived next to all 3 of their NY locations and I love each one.

I went here twice earlier this year when I was on vacation and I was blown away the first time hence the reason I had to return. The first time my boyfriend and I went for dinner and the staff was simply amazing and welcoming. They even lowered the lights making our evening all the more romantic. The spinach soup was the best I’ve ever had (give it a shot) as well as the garlic naan. My salmon was also done to perfection. Everything was well cooked and the presentation was great. We even got a rice pudding on the house :). Thanks Mughlai! I can’t wait to stop by again.

We’re always wanting to try new places, but with Indian cuisine, we have a favorite. Unfortunately, we decided to cheat on our favorite place to try Mughlai.

The worst unedible Brianna I ever had in 50 years and I have it almost every other week elsewhere throughout Manhattan. Clunks of an edible, uncooked spices such as cardamom and Bayleaf. Undigestible and almost broke my teeth. Items that are supposed to be taken out of the dish after cooked and the cardamom seeds are supposed to be blended in with the food and not like pistachio nut shells. I love spicy food but I did not order this to be spicy because biryani is a comfort food and it was so spicy that it was not even edible. I told him I couldn’t eat it and I had to pay for it anyway. I would have gladly taken any other type of dish. This was the first time I ever had it there and I have not returned since and I never will. These are not professional chefs. Check out the reviews on yelp because obviously they remove negative r Reviews here on their own website and they probably have family putting in plenty of positive reviews IMO.
