We heard about this restaurant, and we had always made the sandwiches at home with their sweet bread, so made a special trip with friends to give it a try. We tried a bunch of different items and the food was pretty unique compared to anything else that you would get out in town. They are definitely still working out the kinks with their supplies and menu. The atmosphere was nice and everyone loved the outside area. The food took a really long time to get. I am not sure they are setup for volume. Overall, we had a good experience but I think this would be more of a special treat type of restaurant due to the prices. The one item that really surprised me was the size of the POG juice for the price. I would have thought it would have been larger for the price.

Honestly i don’t think that anyone would try it a second time, they are lacking menu options, the place it is very nice but it need a full redo on their menu items and the prices they charge are too much for the food is served…

I’ve been waiting a while for this place to open. Today my boyfriend and I went. I absolutely loved it. The food was actual Hawaiian food, not just Hawaiian themed. The atmosphere and attitude of the staff made the place feel like I was actually transported back home. Definitely will visit again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I was lucky enough to attend an exclusive preview event yesterday and wow, was it amazing. This Hawaiian-inspired menu is one of a kind. I tried the Hello Hilo Bowl and it was delicious! So flavorful and unique; nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. They also have sweet treats and fun colorful drinks. The restaurant is a BEAUTY inside and out. I cannot wait for it to officially open. I’ve found my new favorite place to eat!

My son’s loved it. Food was tasty with a good amount of options. Only issue I had was that my husband and I ordered the juice and when they have us our food they were out. Instead of asking us what drink we would like to change it for they just chose the lemonade for both us. Otherwise it was a good experience. The staff was attentive and friendly.

This was my first time and it was amazing. The staff was great, the restaurant ambiance was so cute with the Pineapples and Island vibe, and the food OMG, so so good. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Georgia and I really hope they open up a location in the Northeast *hint hint. Please please check Hello Hilo out you will be so glad you did!

Cute place, really different from anything in the area. Reasonable prices and food was great. Especially the mochi donuts. They’re still on a limited menu, but that’s to be expected right when a grand opening happens. The service was awesome and I hope the environment stays that way. It was PACKED and we had to wait for a parking spot.. but it was worth waiting for. Prices about $10-15 / person, which is reasonable. A great summer spot, as there is outdoor seating with swings / tables etc.

We ordered the hula whip, which was so refreshing! The dream soda(pineapple flavor), two mochi donuts (fruit punch & pineapple) and the strawberry guava cookie. I can’t wait to go back and try the food!
