This is like Sajj but…1000 times better. Zadna Bowl is a casual Mediterranean counter-style shop where you pick a protein, a base, and toppings. So simple but so delicious.

Great spot. Love the mujadarah- cracked wheat and lentils! Didn’t know you could do that. So good. Lamb was great.

I found Zadna Bowl by accident while walking around University Ave in the downtown area. It’s a small place with options to create your own bowl of Middle Eastern goodness. I had chicken kabobs, falafel over rice, Israeli salad, tabbouleh, eggplant, cauliflower, tzatziki sauce, with sumac and parsley sprinkled on top.

Such a great deal for delicious fresh food. I was able to split a bowl for dinner the servings were so large. The owners were also very friendly. This place is a no brainer. I hope to be back often.

The ingredients are very fresh. The falafel and the veggies are very flavorful. The meat (chicken shawarma, chicken kabob and especially lamb shawarma) is bland – A little more flavor would make this my favorite restaurant.

Must try mediterranean place! The people are friendly and helpful. The place was notably clean and the food delicious! I like to compare to places based on their falafel and Zadna Bowl did not disappoint! They make them fresh to order so they’re hot and crisp when they come out and travel surprisingly well. They’re balanced not too oily but very much satisfying. Highly recommend checking this place out especially if you like falafel, however their humus and baba ganoush are delicious as well. Shout out to my dude MJ for top notch customer service and welcoming vibes, cheers!

I always get their lamb & falafel bowl and pistachio baclava as dessert❤️ I also really love their beets as sides! Wish I could buy them separately.

Family-owned counter-serve restaurant with massive portions, fried to order falafel, and delicious chai on the house. Very fresh and flavorful! One bowl and two sides was more than enough for two. Will be coming back.
