We were happy to find our favorite food trailer turned into a restaurant this summer. Tonight we brought the whole family out. My husband and I had the Birra tacos. They were fantastic. I really appreciated the unlimited use of the salsa Verde. My kids who are a little picky asked if they could have cheese quesadillas and the man at the cash register happily obliged. The cheese quesadillas were definitely a step up from what you usually get. They looked delicious. I know sometimes people are hesitant to try more ethnic foods because they’re afraid there might be a communication barrier, but the man at the register spoke perfect English, and could easily answer our questions. As far as the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Don’t forget to try the horchata drink, it was deliciously memorable.

This is a cash only food truck with outdoor seating. They were super busy. I liked the pager. You now get 3 tamales. The chicken pieces were huge with hardly any vegetables. The refried beans were drinkable and salty. Definitely all made from scratch.

The atmosphere was nice, service was quick. I had ordered a horchata and a torta. Torta fell apart and bread was too soggy. Horchata was grainy, all the rice and cinnamon sticks at the bottom of my drink. I’ve had better tasting horchata from Mexican restaurants in Columbus. Horchata is supposed to be well strained as well. Tortas from the Monarca truck here around orrville are exponentially better.

Im excited that the food truck is now a restaurant! I always get the pollo salad with pineapple or the shrimp tacos. I love the cilantro they put on – it always tastes fresh.

Visiting the area and this is some of the best Mexican food I have had in the Midwest! Loved the birria tacos I got for lunch. The horchata is great as well. I may just have to stop again before I leave!

The pupusas were stacked up like pancakes and the filling was very bland and soaking through the masa dough, the sauces that came with it were good. We also ordered the tamale and it was the worst I have ever had. The masa was soggy and under cooked and there was no banana leaf wrapper or corn husk rapper on the tamale. The filling was bland, and characterless. We ordered it to dine in but received it in takeaway containers. Chances of going back are 0.

1st time to eat at this food truck, a coworker took me to it. I had the chorizo burrito. DELICIOUS!!!! Great balance of meat, rice, veggies, and sour cream. It was large and filling well worth the price. I will be back.

El Cerrito is possibly the best place to eat in Orrville, which you might not expect from little more than a taco truck. Service is fast, and while they don’t offer indoor seating, they have a few tables with umbrellas. Perfect place to grab a quick lunch, or skip the line and call ahead to place an order for pickup. I get the chorizo burrito or the bean and cheese pupusas, both excellently prepared and reasonably priced. The burrito is filling and delicious, made that much better topped with their house-made red and green salsas.
