The place is called “Island Coffee Traders”. There’s a sign inside stating “coffee roasters”. There is not a single bag of coffee available for purchase, their coffee menu consisted of iced or hot and dairy options were milk or non dairy creamer. I ordered a “banana foster” iced coffee. It just tasted like Folgers with too much ice. Dining area was dingy and the woman at the counter was pretty gruff. It seems like they focus on being a breakfast joint. Maybe change the name to reflect this, as this is not the place to get decent or even mediocre coffee.

This is a quiet, comfy place to get a good breakfast good cup of coffee and a good donut or muffin it’s popular with the locals who want a very early breakfast. It does a brisk drive through business. Many customers come in order a coffee and a doughnut, and then leave, the lasso make lunch up till 1 PM every day is the kind of place where guy sitting at the bar having their breakfast or turn around and talk to their friends Siri what are the booths. The staff all know each other and often recognize the customers as well. The food is good and priced reasonably , the breakfast burrito can’t be eaten in one sitting, it’s delicious.

In my mind I envisioned something a little different from what I encountered.

Tried it 3x. One time the donuts were great so I ignored the miserable workers and went back. Next time the donuts so stale and hard, obviously old. Figured it was a fluke. Tried it a third time and they had no donuts. No bagels. And when I asked what do you have? And the woman said the toaster is turned off and they have coffee. No smiles, no good morning reply back not even a hi. Coffee was just coffee. Go to dunkin or even McDonald’s instead. Too bad since I live 2 min down the road.

Coffee not bad. Very stale donut received . Girl eating in the window. Rude man on intercom. Not happy bunch. Service will make or break this establishment.

Our go-to spot for Sunday morning donuts. Old fashioned donut shop with extensive variety of old fashioned donuts like we grew up with. Be sure to get there early to have your choice of donuts before they sell out. They offer a variety of hot and iced coffees, as well as full breakfast. Counter service, booth service and drive through. Stop wasting your money at the corporate donut chain and buy local from Island Coffee Traders – you’ll be glad you did! I know I am.

Great food and attentive service, but only one person serving. They are attempting to hire more staff.

I’m not usually a fan of flavored coffees, but they have the best flavors around. Not sugary (unless that’s what you like) and there’s always a new one to try.

I love this place. but when I show up on sunday at 12:45 and the place is closed when the hours say it’s open until 1, is ridiculous. the person who works in the morning is in a rush to leave. this has happened 2 weekends in a row. I come from out of town to come here so it’s very frustrating to me. if your business says it’s open until 1, then it should be open until 1. not the toaster is off at 12:40. your business is open until 1. after that is when everything should be shut off. there was also a person in line behind me, who followed me to dunkin. frustrated as well. change your hours or get better employees who want to work.
