I was a little worried walking in. No one was there, after a bit some local came in which made me feel better. Very clean update place with metal art on the walls. Our food is served and I am so impressed. Food was cooked perfect nothing over done or under done and a massive amount. It was the best meal of our trip. I highly recommend this as a stop in your travels. If I would recommend anything I would say a TV with local news or even a radio playing soft tunes, but everything was perfect. Maybe the cook should think about going bigger then home town.

Great home cooking. Stopped there for breakfast, portions were good and had good service.

This place really helped us out. After biking 150 miles to get to Springfield a little later than we were anticipating on a Sunday evening, Riley was nice enough to keep the place open for us and feed us some amazingly good burgers and chili cheese fries. Generally in really small Colorado towns I am used to pretty mediocre food, there burger was as good as any I’ve had. Price was reasonable as well. Place is kept clean and they even answered the phone when we called ahead, another perk not normally enjoyed from a small town in my experience.

The nacho Supreme is my favorite. They use homemade chips which are thicker and very good. The wait staff is usually friendly and it is locally owned and operated. Local artists and metal artists display their art work for purchase on the walls as well. Great place for a snack or a meal. I Highly recommend them for your next meal.

The lack of people there at dinner time should have been an indicator, especially when all the small local motels were full and only 1 other place in town was open. The waitress was friendly but gave poor service and my taco salad was heavy on the raw onions when I asked for no onions. Almost everything on the menu come loaded with green chilis, with red chili available on request. The bright spot, the homemade, freshly fried flour tortilla chips with the salad were amazing.

Highly recommend this little gem. My Spanish Omelet was delish and my husband loved his pancakes. I’m so glad we got our times confused (MST/CST) otherwise we would have eaten breakfast in Lamar!

Great service and the taste of food made from scratch is unmistakeable. If you’re ever in town or just passing through, you should stop by and have some friendly conversation with the staff there. And great customer service as well.

One of my favorite new hole in the wall discoveries. Very casual environment. Friendly staff and huge portions of food. Great stop on your way through Springfield.
