This restaurant was amazing not only food but staff and guests. My grandpa fell on the sidewalk outside and they went above and beyond helping my grandpa up as well as another customer and offering him water to clean up. Fortunately he is ok we stayed for lunch and it was so good I had the ham fried rice with veggies it was AMAZING. They kept asking if he was okay my grandpa. Seriously this restaurant showed us humanity and how amazing and kind the world can be.

I love this place. My family and I have been going here for years. The staff has seen us grown up and we keep coming back. The food is great, and tastes amazing. Our favorite is the potstickers that go out quickly. But every dish here is incredible, packed with flavor. I always look forward coming back to this place!

I was introduced to this super restaurant. With the name”David’s Kitchen,” you might just drive by not knowing this is the best Chinese food restaurant period anywhere. Even China itself. I could tell all the food served to me was literally prepared right before it was set before me. The food was so fresh. Texture and flavor of everything was perfect. The server helped me when I told her I didn’t like plain rice. I told her when I eat plain rice, it has no flavor. She made suggestions to help my rice taste great. Then made sure that happened. By the way, the rice was light and fluffy. I’ve been to Chinese restaurants where the “scoop” of plain rice on my plate was in a ball because the rice was all stuck together. Rice shouldn’t come in the form of a “baseball.” David’s Kitchen served their rice in a bowl. Perfect. This restaurant is like so many in the Salt Lake area. It’s just is special because the owner and all employees care to make it that way. There are so many things that are right about this restaurant discovery. Please know I am 62 years old. Trust me. I’ve had plenty of time and experience to try several, I mean lots of Chinese restaurants around the country. This one by far is the best. People, treat yourself to a visit at “David’s Kitchen.” Stay away from those restaurants that just serve heated food from their freezer. I really can’t say. But, I bet there’s a high chance “David’s Kitchen” probably doesn’t even have a food freezer. Their food tastes that fresh. They will have my business for the rest of my life. And I’m definitely spreading the word. Thanks “David’s Kitchen” for opening my eyes and treating my taste buds. You made my day!!

This has been a family favorite for years. We love starting out a meal with their famous potstickers and table-made dipping sauce. They have great lunch specials but some of our favorites aren’t on that menu. So, if you’re out with a few people and want to look at sharing a couple of different entrees I would suggest, Mongolian Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Chicken (my wife’s favorite), and some Green Bean/Asparagus Pork with the Black Bean sauce (my favorite), and some House Fried Rice to top it off.

Ordered the Lo Mien lunch combo which for what it costs, could’ve been better portioned and tasted better.

We decided to try David’s Kitchen after so many recommendations from friends, and the food did not disappoint. The potstickers were as good as we were told, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Cashew Chicken were delectable, although there wasn’t very much chicken in the Cashew Chicken dish.

Still the best pot stickers in town. The service is always fast and friendly. David’s Kitchen has been valued member of our community in Salt Lake for decades and I am glad they are still here.

The green beans with beef are amazing! The beef is velvety and the brown sauce is rich and delicious. Great fried rice too, very flavorful. Make sure to get a side of dumplings and dip them in the chili oil!

I appreciate that they had later hours yesterday. I have ordered take out twice and both times the food was consistently good and so was the service. The location is fairly convenient and parking is ample. They’ve definitely taken major measures to protect themselves and the customer during the pandemic. I will be back.

Good food but small portions. It was $12 for a plate, I paid that at Hunan Village and took home leftovers. The ladies are rude. This could be the reason that during lunch we were the only ones there.
