Visited here on Saturday with my boyfriend and, despite being understaffed, the food was extraordinary! My boyfriend even said that it was probably the best Mexican food he’s ever eaten. I had the texano rice and he had a beef taco and burrito with bacon added! Portions were bountiful and our server was as attentive as he could be given the staffing level. Only recommendation is do not sit outside because the flies were relentless once our food came!

Really great spot. Our food and drinks were amazing and out waiter was awesome! Along with our waiter all the other staff seemed great as well. The restraunt is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend agave it was some of the best food I had while on Tybee.

Good food and decent prices. 4 stars because they weren’t exactly welcoming. We sat down, and after a few minutes someone came by and put napkins and silverware in front of us. I said ‘Thank you’ and they didn’t say anything, just walked away. After another few minutes, someone else came by and put chips and salsa on the table. I said ‘Thank you’ and they didn’t reply, just walked away. After that, the service was OK, but ignoring someone that talks to you is kinda rude. Especially if you are running a business.

No one at hostess stand when we arrived and no signage as to what to do regarding being seated. Employees definitely did not want to be there. Lots of empty tables but we were told to wait outside in the heat due to a 20 min wait due to only having 2 waitresses on a Friday. The wait was no issue but couldn’t see any logical reason for not being permitted to sit at a table inside which was air conditioned. Very few parking spots. After getting in, there were so many flies we couldn’t enjoy our chips and salsa. Ordered a tea but got a water. My food was pretty good but our meal was over when a fly got into my husband’s food. Waited another 20 min for the check. Again, somewhat understandable since understaffed but also definitely not an enjoyable experience. Probably would not go back with so many other options in the area. Really wanted to love it based on previous reviews but just too many negatives for us.
