Husband and I tried Mixtitos tonight and I was beyond impressed. Drinks, staff, and food were beyond my expectations! Bartenders were incredible and knowledgeable he made us drinks from their menu and even gave us a preview of their Halloween themed menu coming soon. I can’t wait to go back!

There’s a reason I took so many photos, it’s just all so tasty, delicious, & beautiful! I have found my new favorite restaurant in Dallas! From the hospitality from the moment we walked in to the food/drinks, it was such a great time. From the sushi, fajita tacos, & salmon, it was ALL DELICIOUS! The fries were even fresh & tasty. Parking was easy as well. You shouldn’t need any other reasons to go after this review and photos. You’re going to thank me!

Y’all… I really wanted to like this, and I’m so disappointed. When we walked in the restaurant at 7 pm for our reservation there was not one employee on the floor. We waited 5 minutes, stood around, looked at the menu, and decided to give it a try anyways. We sat ourselves and a few minutes later our server came out. We ordered a bottled beer and Paloma, which we received 15 minutes later. Mind you, there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. For our entrees, we ordered the tacos and BBQ wings. The tacos were bland and the rice was stale and crunchy. The BBQ wings were tossed in something that tasted exactly like Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ. The veggies were wilted and dull and the fries were soggy. For those two entrees and two drinks our tab was $60. Don’t waste your time or money here.

This is a great spot by Grand Ave and I-30! The food is a great fusion of different cultures and flavors. The service was wonderful, the owner greated us and made our drinks personally. Definitely check this place out if you’re in Dallas!

The BEST restaurant in East Dallas. I am so amazed and still day dreaming about my night last night. Everything was delicious. We had tempura seafood appetizer, beef fajitas (that I most likely will never order anywhere else because this was by far the best I’ve ever had), and Croque monsieur (with a twist). I want to go back every day this week and eat my way through their menu. The service was top notch and the owner and his wife made our experience complete. Also the best frozen margarita with fresh ingredients you can taste, not sweet like all the others. I will be back 1000 times!!!

Amazing food, experience and value! I struggled with posting since this is such an amazing find and want to keep it as special as it is. Parking in front is limited and there is parking in the neighborhood. my fave was the filet mignon. Everything is made there and you can taste the freshness and love. Loved chatting with Chef Jose Luis and his family. Will definitely return! Loved the Japanese/Mexican/French fusion and vibe. Went here on Friday for a late lunch and returned the next day to try the Japanese breakfast along with the cafe de olla, seafood tempura app and Japanese Shepherd Pie which was a delightful balance of tastes and umami.

Beautiful environment, happy hour made me happy as the unique flavored margarita where so tasty and not so sugary. I was able to taste the Passion Fruit in the 1st drink & my second drink was the Soursop margarita. My daughter order tacos and she enjoyed them, although they were very small.

Absolutely love the food here!!! Well worth it for a local gem with such a passionate chef. We had the Mango margaritas that were not super sweet but refreshing, and Fish ceviche to start. The ceviche was the perfect texture, not rubbery, not a strong fish aroma, and the perfect amount of lime juice. Then we shared the combo fajitas that were amazing with their homemade corn tortillas!!! We ended with some flan and fresh fruit!! SO GOOD!!! They do have a happy hour menu, drink specials, and now DAILY SPECIALS!!! What a great addition the this area!!! Go check them out!!!!!

Wonderful service! We enjoyed a FANTASTIC house margarita — you can tell it was made fresh! And then when we ordered the “queso fondue” it was prepared table-side, so fun! Would recommend for a fun dinner out!

Had the ceviche and flan. Both were delectable! Slowly eating my way through the menu. Love that the food is fresh, well-prepared and the hospitality. This is my go to restaurant. BONUS: talk to the Chef/Owner Jose Luis — he is so passionate about his culinary delights. #IHeartLocalEats #FoodieLife #DFW-Delight
