Absolute gem of a spot! I can’t believe I’ve missed 10 years of this little delicious spot! Service was A+. The food was delicious too! The atmosphere was very comfy. We felt at home. So much so that we will be back again tonight. I’m happy to know a great spot is close to home. I passed it for way too many years, and I’m glad to know they’re here now.

Stopping in for a late lunch (2pm), my wife and I were advised that the busy lunch rush had depleated some of the specials. Following this news, our server ran through a pretty substantial list of specials still available. On the list was one of my favorite, a chicken salad sandwich. Both my wife and I ordered the sandwich and a single trip to the salad bar.

An absolute hidden gem. My husband and I stopped on our way back home from Carowinds and this place made the trip 10x better. I reviewed the menu online and figured it would be a hole-in-the-wall joint but the food was insane! We started with fried mushrooms and let me tell you, not only were the extremely fresh but they were covered and fried in a crispy home-made batter. After that course we knew we were in for some good food. The entrees were delicious. I had the vegetable creamy pasta and MAN it was so good! The garlic bread was mouth watering and the cheese and sauce were A+! Desert came around and we ordered the pecan pie bread pudding. It came warmed with two dollops of vanilla ice cream on each side. My husband later told me “after that first bite I didn’t want to share”. It was soft, moist, rich. Absolutely perfect. To top it all off the service was extraordinary. Not only was our waitress on top of drinks, napkins and checking in, but other servers even stopped by to ask if we needed anything. Definitely stop by, and tip well!

Dinner Friday night was simply outstanding!! We started off with the tantalizing tasty fried pickles. The spicy ranch dressing is definitely the way to go for that little extra kick. Prime rib was on point. The blackened shrimp & creamy pasta dish was ‘bowl licking good’. Of course no dinner at Oliver’s would be complete without the blueberry bread pudding with ice cream on the side. The wait staff was VERY attentive!! Thanks again for an outstanding evening in Wadesboro !!

Friendly staff, excellent service, amazing food. The Poutine was just like what I had in Canada and the Fried Pork Chops were on point, with perfectly seasoned broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side. Hubby got the Prime Rib dinner and it looked really good. If we’re ever back in town we will definitely be going bank to Oliver’s.

Every time I get the chance to stop in on my way to or from Holden Beach, I do. My go to is the Prime Rib Sandwich with extra Horseradish. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Fish Tacos are also in the rotation.

Stopped as a half way point on the way back from Myrtle Beach heading home, delicious food, you can tell the owner cares about what comes out of the kitchen. Every single waitress would check on our table regardless of who we initially made first contact with, which was great to see, really made you feel welcome. The chef/owner even made a trip around the dining room speaking to customers which I thought was great. We will definitely be making this a stopping point for future trips.

Eat here! Small town restaurant with awesome customer service, menu and flavor! Stopped here on our way to Myrtle Beach from Statesville, NC. My parents met us here, too. We all loved our entrees. The fried pickles though…by far the best we’ve ever had!
